Building under renovation, more upgrades

Currently under renovations but workable. We have stayed here often for travel. Great location. Easy access to the airport

The property is currently under improvements, other than that and the elevator, the newly renovated room is excellent, with supplies and bottled water provided well provided. There is also a new rooftop hot tub, and I was lucky to be the only person at the time enjoying the music. It was quite nice on a sunny day. All staff are very helpful and friendly, especially the cleaning team. The location is quite remote in the middle of industrial area closer to the airport, but glad there is a restaurant on premise and we drove, so not an issue.

We needed a hotel for an overnight layover before a connecting flight and this fit the bill to a T. It's a stones throw away from YYC by car with plenty of parking outside (the basement parking was full at the time). They also offer a hotel shuttle service but we didn't have need of it. Our room was large, well appointed and clean. Large bed, plenty of space to repack a large suitcase if needed and room for a crib (provided at no cost, some hotels do nickel and dime on this stuff). The bathroom is very nice with a fancy shower unit though it did suffer from slightly lower water pressure for one of its functions (body jets). Only real minus point was the AC in the room was quite loud, we turned off the cooling function and left it on fan mode only for fear of waking our child. Overnight temperature was still comfortable. There was maintenance work ongoing at the time and this was evident in some scaffolding on site, tarps over windows and construction materials in places. Getting to the restaurant internally is a maze but once there, we have to say the food far exceeded expectations! The food is very worthy of standing on its own feet (we expected very average food based on our experiences at your usual airport hotels) so this is a big plus we can highly recommend. Finally for one night, the price was extremely competitive with no hidden fees charged to the deposit (another Calgary hotel resorted to this tactic for our earlier stay..).

There is a staff that chewing a gum. That we are carrying a lot of stuff going in the elevator didn’t even bother to ask what floor are we going to help us press what level are we going. She even raise her eyebrows in looking to us. She is talking in Mandarin. Maybe she thinks we dont understand her but we do. I dont want a big deal. Just letting you know. Thank you.

I have stayed here many times. We had no idea the property was under a major renovation. I like this hotel, but it is very dry and the air system seems even more noisy than I remember. There are many other airport options.

The best choice we could ever made for our trip to Calgary and Banff! The staff was very helpful since the very first moment, and provided us with vouchers for free breakfast for 2 for 5 days of our 8 days stay. The breakfast at Pancini was top notch. The food was delicious and all personnel of the restaurant was very attentive. The hot tub at the rooftop was another surprise. We went there in a cold night after a long day of hiking in Banff, the best for tired legs. Last but not least, the hotel has an excellent clean gym and laundry. Highly recommended!

This hotel is our go to hotel whenever we go to Calgary. And its getting better as they are doing renovations. The hotel rooms are upgraded. Highly recommended

The breakfast had good options and the service was friendly and fast.

We had a wonderful stay in a newly renovated and clean room. It was the perfect spot for our one-night layover before flying back to the US from Calgary. Hotel is about 7 minutes from YYC airport and they have a free shuttle service as well. As Expedia members, we enjoyed a complimentary breakfast that was genuinely good. We would absolutely stay here again on a future trip to Calgary and highly recommend it to everyone!

The place was under construction, the breakfast which normally cost $22 per person was a joke. Small portion, maybe 1.5 scrambled eggs, toast and applesauce with a few small potatoes. The beds felt as if you were sleeping on box springs. Overall very unimpressed with the amenities, comfortability, and atmosphere.

They have renovated most rooms, good up dates except for the mattress. Very hard, too hard . I have stayed here for years but not sure if i can handle being sore all night. Very disappointing !

Staff was very nice. Hotel was under renovations so didn’t present the best it could, but understandable. Family stayed just one night using their shuttle service to and from the airport. The staff was very kind and helpful. Would definitely stay again if needing to be close to the airport.
