Took my partner away here we stayed here for 2 nights. On arrival staff was very welcoming and helpful. Parking here is expensive but if you park on Compair crescent which is near (5 min walk) by it’s a lot cheaper saved myself £15.00. Convience stores are very near for your essentials. 1 Lifts was working on day we arrived and other was out of order. Then the other lift went down so had to use stairs in end for rest of our stay, which was ok but on departure we had to carry everything up and down stairs as had to make 2 journeys to room to get our belongings. Breakfast would been better if food was kept warmer as was only very luke warm when we had breakfast. Was very happy they provided soya milk so thank you . Didn’t buy any food or drink at the hotel but as thought prices was too high priced. Would stay here again to see if anything my comments has been listened too. But was a good stay apart from my negatives. Good bus routes into town and railway 5 min away so good location.

All staff were excellent and went out of their way to make our stay as good as they could. Although a modern hotel , it doesn’t really cater for us older generation. Unable to use tv in our rooms, only via apps which we couldn’t use. 1 lift was out of order and the second lift kept failing, so the staff moved us 4 guests to the ground floor. Tv still no good there. It seems to be a business hotel, so not suitable for the visiting Ipswich leisure guest. Due to the difficulties with changing rooms, the bar running out of basic drinks, it spoilt our stay. Thankyou to all the staff for doing your best.

Lovely hotel in a great location for the town centre or the football ground. Bed was a bit too hard for me. They no longer have Sky Sports so only had the news Chanel on the TV. Such a shame as I would have stayed in the bar area to watch the evening game. Please invest in sky sports like you used too.

Room was super clean spacious and well set out, this is my choice of hotel in Ipswich as it’s lovely. Staff are wonderful do really go above and beyond. Brekkie is a basic buffet with vegan sausages to order. Bar area is where you check in quick and simple and nice you can get a drink no matter what time of day

Hotel and staff are fab this is my 3rd stay within months and it’s now a firm fav, what makes this hotel is the nice clean rooms but mostly the brilliant staff they cannot do enough for you, they treat you like a friend, polite cheery and knowledgeable. The brekkie is a buffet style vegan sausages to order should you want them, scrambled eggs mushrooms sausages bacon beans hash browns and hot porridge, lots of cold foods and the bread selection is great. Just what you need to start the day. Easy to have food delivered in from local shops should you need too but the food in the hotel for evening meal is nice and fairly priced.

A clean hotel and a pleasant stay for 2 nights. Parking is extremely limited but the West End Road car park is only a short walk away and both reasonable cost and easy to pay via the MiPermit app (which will give you a Vat receipt afterwards). The buffet style breakfast was good and the hotel was very clean and the staff helpful.

This is a great location if you’re going to an away game at Ipswich Town Football club. The hotel is great - pretty similar to a Hampton by Hilton in format and style. It’s just over the Bobby Robson bridge so an easy walk to the ground or the town and a slightly longer walk along the tow path to the Marina area. Staff are excellent. Very friendly and helpful. Food is good. I ate there for an evening meal and it was freshly cooked and tasty. On site parking so we left the car there for the match and then walked back after the game. I’d definitely stay there again (but Ipswich is a long way from the Boro for an away game) UTB!!

Nice enough hotel as a whole, clean and well presented. Negative is the hard bed with spings that could be felt. Not the best sleep.

The bedroom was basic but comfortable and clean. However, there was only one small wondow giving very little natural light. The heating seemed uncontrollable and the staff tried to help but without effect. The bathroom is a wet room. There is nowhere to hang towels. The extractor fan is very weak. We were not aware of a parking charge before our arrival. Parking is limited with insufficient spaces.

Breakfast was quite good, nice pastries and yoghurts. Room was pretty simple. Bathroom could’ve been cleaned a bit better before arrival and the loo flush kept breaking so was a bit flimsy.
