Cadiz is a dreadful place. A very depressed economy. No action in the turrets. Buildings old and decrepit. No bars, restaurants or shops just empty street and the feeling of depression. We liked the hotel but it’s massive and so weird it felt like we were in a bad movie like it’s the end of the rotor and zombies surround it. The bed is in the middle of the room which wastes major space and the soft cream stone floor is so badly stained it’s almost dark grey from wear n tear. Money was spent on fittings it s a gorgeous property but it better not to go to Cadiz at all. It felt like a wasted day and we joyfully left for Marbella. We felt grateful that we don’t live there and prayed for prosperity and also plant trees it’s all concrete to add to the depression. Plus it’s grey and cool because of the cold Atlantic.

Spacious, clean, modern room. Enjoyed our stay. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. Safe garage parking. The only negative was the bar/cafeteria. The service there was poor, despite there being hardly any customers. It is easy to understand why this cafeteria receives such poor reviews. Overall though, the hotel is excellent and we would recommend it highly.

Stunning new building with great views. Staff were very friendly and helpful with restaurant recommendations. The room was clean with super comfy beds and pillows and an amazing bath and shower. Great balcony with stunning views. Breakfast was plentiful. Staggered sittings so it didn’t feel overcrowded. Underground parking at a price!

Superbe emplacement avec chambre avec vue sur les piscines et la mer. La chambre est spacieuse, lumineuse et confortable. Le petit déjeuner était très bon.

Lovely hotel great access for the old town Cádiz. Very helpful staff, wonderful breakfasts particularly the fresh made omelette station. Great sea views from our room and the public rooms for sunrise and fabulous sunsets. Lovely pool and roof top bar. We had a fabulous stay and will definitely return. Thank you ☺️

5 star experience. Staff were friendly and helpful. There was some issue with the shower but it got fixed quickly. The view is amazing. Love the experience. Spa services were great but could offer more. Breakfast with a view (if you can get a seat). Only qualm is one of the waiters — I took a table with a view and he was questioning me.

We had a huge junior suite with a large balcony overlooking the sea and botanical gardens. It was lovely, but also frustratingly poorly designed for all the space it offered there were no bedside tables and no hanging space for dresses. Given how huge the suite was this seems a real oversight - and if addressed the rooms would be pretty spectacular. The lighting systems were also very fiddly, and took a lot of getting used to! The pool was massive and well laid out with plenty of beds. It was disappointing it wasn't open in the mornings and the bar wasn't due to open for another few weeks - too early in the season apparently despite being mid/late May and 31 degrees. The lifeguard could get cans of beer, water and soft drinks but a slightly wider choice (wine, cans of G&T etc) would have been appreciated as the pool area was lovely. We didn't try the restaurant for lunch or dinner but breakfast was good. it does feel slightly corporate as it has huge provision for corporate meetings but overall it was a nice hotel which just needed a few tweaks!

Amazing views from balcony. Reception very helpful. Breakfast is a buffet service, it wasn’t very personal, difficult to get attention of staff to order coffee or tea and quite noisy, food was ok.

Absolutely wonderful 2 night stay….staff amazing from reception to both restaurants. Great location and gorgeous sea views and adjacent to beautiful gardens with waterfall and topiary’s. At breakfast if you are a tea drinker place the order with a member of staff who has the trolley as there is no self serve tea making facilities. The food offerings were excellent for gluten free and had an omelette station too.

Superb Hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. We preferred the Tacita bar where excellent tapas was available with great wines. Great views of the Atlantic. The room a little soulness but with views of the sea (and superb sunsets) and good food and wine it was a great place to be

The room was spotless and had everything we needed (after a request for a kettle, which promptly arrived!) Staff were all friendly and helpful. Car parking was expensive (€21 a night). But the hotel is conveniently located for enjoying everything old town Cadiz has to offer. And there is a lovely view of the sunset from the bar! The pool and sun terrace would have been lovely in warmer, less windy weather.

Hotel: 4/5) modern and clean. Floor to ceiling window/doors leading to private terrace is fantastic. The room was quiet as long as the patio doors were closed, otherwise you can hear street traffic all night. Restaurant (2/5): we paid for half board. The breakfast was pretty good. The dinner was mediocre and definitely not worth the price paid. They did not explain what was included with half board and when I asked (had to ask twice), was told to pick appetizer and main. I picked and then was up-charged for one of the mains when the bill came. I get it and am willing to pay, but was never informed. The next night, I was up-charged for a main and for both desserts (again not informed) even though I ordered the same priced dessert from the night before that I was not charged for. And the wait staff was not very friendly. Mostly the men, the women were very nice when we had the opportunity… but all our servers were men. I probably would not stay here again, definitely not eat there.

Check in staff was very friendly and helpful pointing out areas of interest. There’s a beautiful park right beside the hotel. Close proximity to many things to see!
