Well presented and quietly located bedroom in an adjacent building with all necessary amenities - tea/coffee maker, iron. Large and well equipped, modern bathroom. Spotlessly clean on arrival although, a minor grudge, no housekeeping on 2nd day. Very good dinner (duck) well presented. Delicious breakfast on both mornings - comprehensive menu. Saturday's breakfast was a bit if a scrum as the restaurant is popular with non-residents which meant slower service. Generally excellent value and recommended.

Wonderful stay, the shepherds hut was lovely and had everything you needed. Staff were lovely and the food was amazing. We really enjoyed our night away and will return in the autumn for a longer stay. Thank you

Nice room, food was outstanding!

I have stayed at The White Horse before so it was a joy to return. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff, and they remembered me from last year and the year before. The food is superb. I always order rack of ribs, which is a particular favourite of mine and it is always tender. I can thoroughly recommend this establishment. 5 stars all round

Amazing shepherds hut with private hot tub, very clean and tidy, staff were amazing very friendly and the food in the pub was top tier.

Spacious, well equipped rooms. Good selection of options on Restaurant menu. Also great value for money. Only slight negative was the bed was quite hard compared to our preferences and the pillows were too thin providing limited support for a side sleeper.

We stayed in a shepherds hut it was lovely, had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. Hot tub was lovely and enjoyed sitting by the fire pit after dinner. Food in the restaurant was delicious and huge portions.

Stayed for one night. Staff are all really good. Thevriom was large and clean. However, on the down side, the bed was a little uncomfortable and woken up at 5am by noise of the sound of kegs being delivered
