It was in general a very pleasant stay. I especially liked how beautiful hotel grounds are and how helpful and attentive the staff was . Rooms are large and well appointed. Cleaning of rooms and around hotel is superb. Food was generally good with decent variety . We loved paella and fresh bread. On the opposite side beef was always tough and overcooked, Italian restaurant needs to look at serving made to order paste dishes rather than pre-cooked dry pasta mixed in bulk with blunt source. Some maintenance is needed around the hotel - our room for example had all numbers worn from temperature control dial and peeling pain on terrace. Pool staff does not fix umbrellas properly in the shaft - more than once we saw flying umbrellas and it just was not tightened properly . Free shuttle bus to city was what influenced our hotel choice, it was so convenient. SPA was ok - but therapists does not seem to be very experienced. I was unpleasantly surprised that hammam had men and women in one room.

The hotel service was good in certain areas. The wait staff and cleaning staff were nice and friendly. The Spa staff booking person was not good, you go to relax and get the opposite. After the first service we canceled everything else for the week because of her. The front desk staff was hit or miss on service. Overall food was average at best.

lovely place been here several times staff and over all quality is amazing and definitely 5star even they only have a 4star rating. I will say the foods gone down hill especially the Italian restaurant o wouldn't even give it a 1 star but over all its ok the buffet has a massive choice and good overall 3/5 star

Love this hotel. The staff are so friendly and efficient. The grounds are beautiful and so well tended. Everything is kept spotlessly clean. There are a few signs of wear and tear and some maintenance issues but nothing that spoils a great stay. Food choice in the buffets is great and freshly prepared. This was our second visit and we would happily return.

Place is nice and staff is accommodating. Bar shuts down at midnight so don’t plan any celebrations after that time on the resort. Easy to get to and from the resort but it’s an automatic up charge for taxis as well as even higher at night. The outdoor pool is not heated and was extremely cold. Pools shut around 6-7 between the indoor and outdoor. The kids club is 4.5 hours split into 2 times, this also goes for entertainment at the pool. The food is decent. They will exchange money for you. The bar staff was very friendly. You will see a lot of people playing games as that’s all there really is to do majority of the day here. At 9-9:30 the entertainment team will put on shows until around midnight. The spa was great and very well priced. Overall I would not return due to the lack of things to do but the place was nice. Had an incident where a women came out of her room to yell at us we were talking to loud while looking for our room key with our daughter. She was extremely rude as well as her husband. I went to the office and practically had to beg them to come address this couple and they did come to say something. I would say there is a lot of entitlement with the visitors at this resort. Smoking where they shouldn’t be. Lack of manners. But again these are the visitors not the staff.

Had an absolutely wonderful time! The only downsides is they don’t heat the outdoor pool so even when it’s warm outside, the pool is like a polar plunge situation. The wifi was very spotty and barley worked at all in the room but would by the main building and restaurants. The bed wasn’t very comfortable and the bedding felt like a bare gauze cover- the room otherwise was beautiful and the staff are very helpful & friendly! The kids club & spa were fantastic as well!

The property it self was nice. The food was horrible; two restaurants were buffet style but they all basically served the same things. The hotel room was vague and had no amenities such as coffee maker, kettle nor a IRON. There were no washcloths (a rag) and we were only given two towels. There was only water in the mini fridge; nothing else. We were told (after having to call the front desk) that we had to make a deposit of 200MAD per item to get a kettle or iron (which they had none available even though they told us on the phone they had some available and when we walked over to the front desk there was none). There’s no club on the property and the drinks (cocktails) are VERY weak. Honestly, If you’re just looking for somewhere to lay your head and you have plans outside of the hotel then yeah I’d stay here, otherwise I’d find somewhere else to stay, ESPECIALLY if you’re a younger crowd.

My stay could have got much better if it was not about the spa, I went twice the 1st with 2 treatments were good experience but in the 3rd treatment the massage was not so good and money was stolen from me. I had been to reception to change euros and went directly to the spa, paid my treatment and when I left 200 dirham = 20 euros were missing . I complained about it to the spa because they’re independent from the resort. I didn’t get any return. Also my son didn’t like his massage at all.

I had a death in the family and requested the hotel to make an exception and cancel my non-refundable room (1 night) as I had to cancel my entire trip. Property outright declined myself and Expedia. No matter how many good things people might say, the service and business practices that don't accommodate exception for customers who are truly in need of some leeway, displays a complete lack of respect for their customers and horrible business ethics. This resort tried pushing the blame on Expedia saying its them who declined to refund me it but its actually this resort. Expedia has been contacting this property for a week ahead of my arrival. Moreover, Expedia notified me that this resort had the literal audacity to ask for a death certificate from the hospital for my deceased family member over a matter of $150 CDN. You guys are genuinely despicable and morally hollow. Absolutely no compassion or respect for the dead or their grieving family and on top of that you declined refunding me as if I care about the money after you reveal your pathetic business practices and moral compass through this gross and disgusting demand.

I liked the hospitality in RIU Tikida, i spent 5nights there it was amazing ... service so good all employees are so kind , the service so good, the food was so delecious and variable... everything is good. And the most important thing that i lost nothing from my suitcases or bags ... i recommand it for everyone 5✨
