I enjoyed the location and the atmosphere in the old town. Good breakfast and helpful staff

We stayed in the annex apartment with 3 bedrooms and a huge living room. Only one shower though. Right on the center shopping street with restaurants so can be noisy with people and cars. You must take stairs to the first level. Breakfast is in the main building down the street.

The annexe where we stayed was beautifully clean and comfortable. Older patrons or people with mobility issues need to be aware that there are three flights of stairs to be climbed (with luggage) in order to get to some of the annexe rooms.

We stayed in their apartment, and it was very spacious, well-maintained despite being a bit dated, and full of character with its charming architecture. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of the old town. We were initially concerned about noise at night, but it became quiet around 11:00 PM every evening. The breakfast was delicious, although it lacked daily variety. It was a classic European breakfast with no hot items except for a make-your-own waffle station.

Wonderful three-night stay in one of their annex apartments. The space was very nice, quiet and well-lit. (We had no upstairs neighbors during our offseason stay.) Staff was helpful and friendly in every interaction, and breakfast was excellent—really increased our sense of value. Location is in the old city and a short walk to sights within the walls, with a couple of grocery stores and more not far outside the walls.

This is a lovely place in every respect. Very welcoming, comfortable room, tasty breakfast, good location. I'd definitely stay here again.

Cozy stay at Villa Borgen. The service was low-key - it seemed to be only one person - but it was all done well. Excellent breakfast - the different smoothies each morning were a treat! Good location near Söderport. Cute courtyard. Would definitely stay again.

A cozy family owned hotel. It is a little bit off the coast up on the hill side, but only 5mins away from the city center. Very clean and neatly kept. The furniture is not the luxury type, but reasonably sturdy and fixed up thoughtfully in the room. The staff is friendly and helpful. They most time keeps out of your way unless you ask.

This hotel is perfect except for one small thing. There was a fairly strong smell I associated with dampness and mildew in the bathroom and the entryway area to our room. Otger than that its sn excellent location and a really beautiful place. The common areas are great for entertaining and the breakfast was simple but delicous and fresh.

A great place - lovely fresh rooms in a brilliant setting inside the Medieval old town. The complimentary breakfast was great, fresh and healthy. The staff were helpful and quick to sort out any issues.

Good location within walled town; about 15 minute walk to Destination Gotland ferry terminal; good buffet breakfast; small but comfy room; frig and kettle in room; quiet; reception closed after 6 p.m.

I thought Hotel Villa Borgen was such a nice and quaint hotel centrally located in Visby. The atmosphere was a wonderfully pleasant feeling like home!

The owners and staff have done everything possible to provide their guests with a first rate experience. Unfortunately, the windowless room lacked any semblance of charm or comfort. Junior suite would be a good deal for a small family or four good friends who will spend little time in the room.

Rummet var dåligt städat. Badrummet kända ofräscht med mycket smutsiga fogar i duschen. Skräp från tidigare gäster fanns också kvar i ett nattduksbord samt soptunnan i badrummet var ej tömd. Om det finns något att göra åt det så hade bättre ljudisolering från innergården gjort sömnkvaliteten betydligt bättre.
