Very basic place, like a backpacker hostel. Unfriendly unhelpful check in staff, worse I’ve met. Had to pay twice for room despite have paid hotels.com, they wouldn’t accept our paperwork, had no choice but to pay again as we needed a room. Only thing in it’s favour is location. And there was a cockroach in corridor outside our room. Do not stay here. Hotels.com should take it off their books

The expedia should include in your Ad that this place has no elevator . Omg, its soo hard to carry our luggage where no one is helping. The location is perfect but the property is not friendly to customers who has a lot of stuff to bring. If you carry a heavy luggages or stuff this is not the right place to stay

We booked a double bed based on pictures on Hotel.com website. They looked like a submarines quarters, grey narrow, dark and single beds. There were no other rooms hut they were all the same anyway. People partyed all night til 5.30 keeping us awake. Hotel.com have reimbursed based on our pictures submitted. So don't go

Very close to dining, cafes, bars, and attractions. Room was dirty. Bathroom had black mold and smelled like mold. Very tiny rooms. Zero amenities, no tv, no hair dryer, no air conditioning, no comfy beds, etc. They also charged my credit card almost $200 more than the price Expedia said I would be charged.

Stay away from this hotel.location is good but hotel is in bad shape and it’s just futon type bed and two plastic chairs and nothing else in the room.

J'ai aimé : l'emplacement très central, très proche de la place de la Catalonya pour des accès au train - métro ; et bien sûr le prix très concurrentiel. C'est un peu bruyant : ce sont surtout les pensionnaires de passage.

Budget rooms in very convenient location with an abundance of nearby bars and cafes and very near to the Ramblas on foot. Very friendly and helpful staff with the charm of old Barcelona right on the doorstep. The walls are a bit thin but my neighbours were thankfully quiet. I would stay there again.

The location was brilliant, short walk from La Ramblas, otherwise it is a very small place, hard to find. The beds were fairly uncomfy.

A basic hotel in a brilliant location. Staff were ok and when they learnt it was my birthday they offered us a choice of 2 rooms. They also became more friendly the more we saw them. The shared shower and toilets were clean and a good supply

There is no lift even for luggage and bed is rock hard but location is awesome

We knew it was a hostel like hotel but didn’t realize it also serves as an apartment building for regular, long term They live above the hotel guests’ floor and I suppose it was kids running around which we could hear in our room at night. We selected a room with a private There is no a/c. The room was very small and parse which we didn’t mind but the condition was somewhat dilapidated and the bathroom smelled of urine at all times. One of the nights it rained and we could hear a leak in the ceiling above the bed. Our room was next to the public/floor bathroom and all night, every night we heard the slamming of the bathroom door and flushing of PLUS: location was amazing.

A big thankyou to the staff who went out of their way to make our stay so welcoming and who helped us when we really needed it towards the end of our stay. Spotless place and easy access at any hour. Linen changed daily. Thanks for everything.

The location was amazing, it was just off one of the main high streets. The room was basic, but it was what you would expect for the price. The staff were amazing, much better than I think you would find at a chain hotel. They were very good at understanding my terrible attempts at Spanish, and their English was very good. It's not far from the cathedral in the Gothic quarter, and the beds was only a 30 minute walk, with a few detours made on the way. There was plenty of bars, shops and restaurants only a couple of minutes away

The walls are thin, resulting in high noises from the other rooms. The street are equally noisy too. The room is not clean.

Bed was hard, it need to be renovated.. Staf was friendly though.
