Room was clean and ok

This is a pretty good priced hotel but there were some issues too. I want other travelers to make informed decisions The Good: -Staff there is excellent. Very nice and responsive. I was there for 3 days and the staff attitude was by far the best thing about the hotel -Breakfast was ok. Breads, cereals and boiled eggs and yogurt (just so you know the reality) -Room was clean when I arrived -Wasnt as noisy as I thought it would be. Its not silent but its not loud either -Its on a strip where there are pretty good restaurants (but the one attached to the hotel was closed permanently) I recommend the Mexican one across the street (excellent food!) -there is a lot of parking for guests -the room i had was HUGE and even had a sofa -the wifi worked really well Not as good: -The rooms are run down and the doors to the room dont seem 100% safe as the latch didn't meet the door jamb properly (there was a deadbolt though) -The king size bed had people shaped dips in it because it was old. Still comfy but old -the little soaps weren't very good and I had to go buy my own -the neighborhood is fairly sketchy -the laundromat and workout room is currently closed so dont expect that at part of your stay Overall because of the staff's excellent attitude and the price being what it is, it's a decent place to stay. 3.5 stars (and I stay in a lot of hotels)

Clean and the staff were excellent

Hotel is aged although, beds were clean and comfortable, ac worked well. If the price I would expect a bit more on the cleanliness and/or with the free breakfast.

Staff is very friendly. Room is spacious and clean. Location is a great short walk for Midway Music Hall. Easy to access and parking. Will stay again! 😁

All staff were very friendly and pleasant, check in/check out were quick and easy. Rooms are clean, but dated. We were in 211. Renovations are happening on other floors so I guess we just got an older room. Air conditioner buttons were worn and we weren’t sure how to turn it on or if it worked. Opened the second floor window to cool off the first night but there was no screen. Figured out the AC unit by the second night and it was much more comfortable then. Gym area was closed for renos, not that we would have used it anyway. Reno noise and disruption was minimal. Continental breakfast was included, limited options but the fresh fruit was a nice touch. Dog treats and waste bags at the door were handy for walks. Area/parking lot felt a bit sketchy to walk around in, especially at night with the club around the corner. I would probably stay again after renovations are complete if the price was still within $25/night. Staff were absolutely the highlight - I felt very welcome, they seem to genuinely appreciate their guests.

Its a small continetal breakfast, nothing hot, there is no family sit in restaurant, in the hotel,for family dining, but there are other small eat in, or take out places. Example, pizza, subway. The parking is great. Great friendly ,helpful staff, nice hotel to stay at.

Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Nice large smart TV in the room. Bed and pillows were super comfortable. There’s pretty much everything you would need in the close vicinity. Would stay again 10/10.

Clean room, good breakfast, and conveniently located. I will stay here again. The hotel is undergoing renovations in some rooms so there were equipment and workers in the hallway. But the room was quiet and the renovations didn't actually affect us.

The breakfast was fine, however the cigarette smoke from out side the door was quite noticeable.

The staff was very helpful and welcoming. The continental breakfast was well stocked and have a good variety of items. The room was great - big HD smart TV, comfy bed and a big soaker tub. Our only issue is checking in, which is why it's a 4-star review and not a 5-star. We arrived at 10pm after a looong 12hr drive behind us, and our room wasn't ready. A staff member got it ready with a half hour, as there was no other rooms left, so we appreciated that.

No time to experience the breakfast.

Hotel and rooms were good Clean and comfortable There were renovations going on but were not too disrupting Location was perfect for what we were doing and seeing in the city Only small complaint was housekeeping were cleaning the halls in front of our room a little early in the morning Overall we were very satisfied

I enjoyed the staff, unfortunately the hotel was under renovations and my furniture in my room should be replaced, I have a beautiful Husky named Lady. Who doesn’t scratch or damage furniture. We like the best rooms a hotel can provide. Sincerely Rory Gaudon
