When we arrived early, our room was not ready, so we explored the town. On returning, the receptionist was not very welcoming. Earlier, Delilah had kindly approved our use of the disabled parking space, but during check-in the receptionist questioned this and checked our blue badge himself, which felt uncomfortable. There were also issues with the room keys. Three of us stayed in the room, but we were first given only one key. After requesting another, my key still only worked for the main entrance and not the room, which caused inconvenience later. The room itself was below expectations. The carpet looked dirty, and there was no mirror outside the bathroom. On the positive side, breakfast was decent, and Delilah was very helpful throughout our stay. Another staff member with long hair also kindly helped resolve an issue with someone parking in the disabled bay. Overall experience was disappointing.

Very small room. Great wifi. Very good breakfast. Close to Maastricht. Parking is an issue when getting in late.

Nice quiet room with nice shower room and comfy beds

Unattractive room, small, dark, smelly and very warm (felt like a sauna). No airconditioning in the room. Although the room was paid in advance for 1 night, we immediately left after entering the room and booked another hotel in Maastricht.

A nice hotel for the price with parking and breakfast included. Very comfortable.

It was nice location. Staff where approachable. Did not like that Christmas tree and decorations already up.

The hotel is in a very convinient location and easily accessible with public transportation. Staff is very friendly but The room service was not satisfactory at all. During a 6 nights stay the bed sheets were not changed once. The room was very cold although i turned the heat to the maximum. Curtains were moved by wind leaking from a poorly isolated balcony door. Very cold and not clean enough. The bathroom smelled a bit. But overall it was ok for a business stay.

We checked in at 1945 with the intention of eating in the hotel restaurant. We made our intentions perfectly clear with the receptionist on arrival so after putting our bags in our rooms imagine our surprise to be told by the waitress that the restaurant closes at 2000. We could find no mention of this online or with the booking confirmation. We then had 2 very hungry 5 year olds and after much online searching we found a kebab shop down the road. It seems nothing in the local area opens after 2100. We couldn’t walk the children into the town as it was too far. That aside the hotel was clean, comfortable and the breakfast was perfect. The location for the Christmas markets was perfect, only a 20 minute walk.

Room 305 was a converted attic. Shower had no screen so result was everything in the bathroom got wet and water ran towards the bedroom. Staff at hotel new to their jobs and not orientated. Need to make dinner bookings by 5:00pm or like us after travelling all day and arriving at 6:00 you will have to find your own restaurant.

Nice hotel. Breakfast was good. Polite staff. The room was neat and comfortable. The staff at the hotel speak good English and hence communication was not a problem.

Bedden en ontbijt goed, maar het tekort aan personeel had behoorlijke impact op de service: Geen bezetting bij de receptie (werd en passant door een serveerster gedaan) en bar dicht om 21.00 uur. Daarnaast veel geluidsoverlast. Kamer 301 ligt pal achter de receptie en onder een trap naar de hoger gelegen kamers. Ligging op 1 km lopen van het bruisende centrum van Valkenburg, waar Restaurant De Munt een aanrader is !

Ontbijt was lekker en uitgebreid. Heel slecht geslapen. De bedden waren enorm zacht( doorgezakt) Heel dunne muren je hoorden voorbijgangers in de gang, boven en onder de kamer. Er lag een oud vies tapijt op de vloer. De accomodatie ligt op 15 minuten stappen van het gezellig stadje.

Het hotel is erg gehorig. Je hoort echt alles, de ramen zijn niet goed geïsoleerd en de vloeren kraken. De kamers zijn erg verouderd.

Es war von Anfang bis Ende ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt! Wir kommen wieder!
