It is a nice countryside hotel that has all the necessary things. The facilities are somewhat outdated. They all have this late 1990s-2000s vibe and the stay would have been more pleasant if they were more modern. But nothing was inconvenient and it’s perfect for a short weekend trip. The surrounding area is very nice. Perfect for people who want to leave the urban area and enjoy some nature. While it is somewhat in the middle of nowhere, the hotel can be reached by foot (~30 min walk) from the Wolfheze station. There is a restaurant in the hotel. The food is not outstanding, and perhaps I would have expected something slightly better than what we were served considering that this is a 4 star hotel and the price of the menu. But then I also think this is the typical level of service and meal expected in these kind of hotels. Wouldn’t mind staying again, but I would explore some other options next time when I’m visiting the area.

Note : this is a review of our contact through the main service desk so not de Buunderkamp itself ! Therefore i gave the hotel itself topmarks instead of judging them for the bullcrap from the main service desk. We had a coupon as a gift and our plan was to spend 3 nights at the location. It turned out to be very hard to get the room we wanted using the coupon so we ended up calling fletcher hotels main service desk. The person on the line was helpfull planning the right room for the alotted nights. After the call we should have gotten a confirmation mail within 10 minutes. We never got the mail so i called the day after. During this call again with main service desk we found out that instead of the regular suite we had the junior suite. Difference being the fact that we were told the junior suite had no bath and was on the first floot with a balcony instead of the ground floor with terrace. This was a huge problem because of my health, the bath and ground level were non negotiable. Through some googling i found out that in the meanwhile the suite was booked for 1 night (our second night) and no more suites were available. So after 3 calls and 3 mails things were still wrong so we cancelled our complete stay. Normaly we stay at single hotels meaning not part of a hotel chain. We never had issues like this at those hotels and the headache this caused was just not worth it. The hotel might have been perfect but scheduling through the main service desk was totaly fubar. As a seperate hotel i think the Buunderkamp would be better and get more guests but that is just my wife's and my opinion. Without the Fletcher chain name we might try to book here in a while but since we spent our 3 nights somewhere else it might take a while.

We booked this hotel for the weekend. The entrance was more or less inviting, the girl at the reception was ok. The corridors had a rustic look, which we liked. However, the room was a disaster. It smelled of mold, the carpets were dirty, the bathroom was more or less clean, with an unpleasant smell and some cobwebs, and the shower had little water pressure. The cupboard above the clothes was full of dust. I understand that it is an old hotel, but they should be more careful with cleaning. The breakfast room was the best room in the hotel, the breakfast was good, and the man who was organizing it was very friendly.

We just stayed overnight in this hotel. It is a bit off the road, somewhere in the middle of a forest/green zone. Our booking has been promoted from a regular double room to a superior room free of charge, which was nice. The room was really spacious with fancy red leather armchairs, large bed and a very roomy bathroom, which included both bath tub and a shower. Positiv: huge front windows (down to the floor) with a large balcony attached. The room was really huge. Quite modern renovated bathroom was also a good. Neutral: located quite far from the main roads. Driving late at night through the narrow forest road to the hotel was a bit unusual, though google maps works well. Parking can also be challenging if you arrive late (we came after 10 p.m.) and found only the tiniest and narrowest of a parking spot A couple of furniture pieces were quite shabby, though nothing very dramatic Negativ: the mattress on the bed was too soft for us, which might work just fine for someone else. The room had a side door to the next room. Though the door was safely closed, in the morning you could clearly hear people conversing just behind that side door, which gave us the impression, that someone might be just about to enter our room. Of course nobody entered, but it was a bit weird. Overall if you are looking for a good price stay overnight, this hotel will work for you. Especially if you appreciate a quiet place in the middle of a natural environment.

We stayed just 1 night but it was perfect ! Hotel room nice clean, so good confortable matras and pillows, swiming pool and kids indoor playground, beautiful location, good breakfast For sure we come back !
