Food was mediocre at best with limited varieties for the inclusive meal. The servers need better training. They mostly conjugated together in plain view of diners. When we needed assistance we had to get their attention by waving at them. Crazy because the restaurant was never full.

The hotel was perfect. It was clean and the staff was very helpful as far as places to visit and restaurants worth visiting. The portobello is newly remodeled, and the rooms are very nice and comfortable. They have room service 24 hours and the food is worth trying. The Portobelo hotel has been my go to place every time I visit Guadalajara.

Clean environment was appreciated. Renovations were on-going during our stay, causing sleep interruption. The faucet and shower water was giving off a bad order. Water leaked from underneath the shower doors causing small . I perceived that if you buy your stay with a third party, you are treated different that if you buy it directly with them.
