check in and they tried to charge me double for my cat to what hotels.com I listed on their website booked a room with a balcony and or terrace. Our room did not have it and they argued with me over that.

Disappointing area. Absolutely nothing there. Did not appreciate gardener strimming and cutting the grass before 7am, he was still there when we left at 10. Wi-Fi didn’t work. Staff were lovely

The hotel is located about 5-10 minute drive from Lecce centre. It was great because there is ample free parking and Lecce is a nightmare for parking! The staff (Ludivica) was amazing! Such a kind and professional receptionist and also a therapist!!!

This hotel is ideal if you have a car and are happy to stay outside the city. It's in the middle of nowhere and the surroundings are a bit bleak. The hotel itself is great. Plenty of parking available. The room was great. I had a couple of complaints - the first is that there is only one power socket in the whole room, which wasn't enough for me. The second is that the shower leaks and you end up with water everywhere in the bathroom, but it's a minor point. They do provide slippers. The shower could do with some upgrading in general. But apart from this, it was a lovely place. The pool is perfect. Surrounded by greenery, very decent size and depth, with an ideal shallow part for children or just to laze in. There's a bar next to the pool. Unfortunately they had run out of food by the time I got there, but that was just my bad luck. Oh, and you have to pay to use a sunbed/towel, which I thought was unfair and unnecessary in a hotel. Breakfast was good, varied and plentiful. The staff were friendly and helpful.

This is a very comfortable hotel on the edge of Lecce. Set in a small park, there is good parking and the rooms are well appointed and pleasant. The buffet breakfast was fine. Service was very friendly and helpful and we were given lots of useful information about the town. You really need a car though, as the town centre is about 2-3 kilometres away. There is a very nice indoor pool and sauna facility, but this costs an extra E15 per person for 2 hours. Why could this not be free for hotel residents ? Also, the hotel is not well signed and it took us a while to find it. Overall though , a very nice place to stay especially as a base to explore Puglia.

Quiet location slightly outside of Lecce. Friendly staff, clean room. Would go back again.

Lovely hotel with nice grounds and outdoor pool area. It's an out of town resort so not much in local area but I knew that when I booked. A few minutes drive into Lecce centre which was great. Staff were all friendly and helpful.

Great grounds and interesting art work make this a very different hotel. It needs a bit of care here and there but generally very well kept, the pool area is especially good. Try the in house restaurant, the food is excellent quality and very good value. Would recommend this hotel.

Many thanks to the checkin clerk, who found a room so quickly, and so early! It made my trip! The pool was pure magic, and the restaurant service and pranzo, so elpful, and tasty!

Staff always very helpful... rates were good for this time of the year... breakfast was good... room very clean but no air conditioning yet at this time of the year (just open the window for cool air during the night)... overall very good. Mid-April 2018 Bernard and Francine from Montreal, Canada

We had a reservation for 2, got a room for three. Said it had a health club, no such luck, it had a 95degree indoor pool. Funny this was they called in the evening to say that as part of our stay we had a complimentary spa use with our room. One person would be allowed access to the sauna and pool. They advertise the pool, we asked about it at check in, and it is off limits to guests unless they pay for the spa. It is right off the highway in a terrible dump of an industrial area and the sign is pretty small at the gps will send you to the back closed entrance. Staff wasn’t very helpful or friendly.

This is a great clean hotel and very friendly staff. The staff on the front desk really go out of their way to tell you about the local area, places to eat and visit, even arranging a taxi to take us there. The pool is really clean. The food at breakfast was very varied and delicious. The only suggestion we would say is that they could have some bikes available for hire from the hotel as it is roughly 2km out of the centre of Lecce. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly reccomend this hotel.

Good hotel, great reception staff and outdoor swimming pool. Indoor pool and sauna was being refurbished but would cost €15 euros to use. Did have a massage which I enjoyed. Breakfast is tasty with fresh fruit and great fruit and cream tarts, chocolate croissants etc, along with 'bacon' and omelettes. Hotel is just off motorway but nothing in walking distance. 10 minute taxi into Lecce cost €15 each way. Hotel will order one for you but no taxi rank to queue up to get one back! The ice cream parlour in the main square ordered one for us!

Beautiful place, staff so friendly especially the gentleman at the reception desk. Very clean, beautiful breakfast with great choices. Impressive building inside and out. Very relaxing,i spent a lovely afternoon at the pool. The only thing slightly disappointing was that the indoor pool was closed for maintenance,I would have loved to see it as it looked so nice on the website. But hey that was just bad timing. Would stay here again for sure

Most staff not especially engaged with customers or their work. The exception was the reception manager who organised a room upgrade. Non smoking requests should be taken seriously: Both rooms had been used by smokers.

Spotlessly clean. Modern, upmarket and extremely friendly staff. Unfortunately you cant walk into the town centre, but its only a 5 minute drive away. We would definitely stay here again and plan to do so.

We booked because the hotel advertised indoor pool. We got there and it was a ridiculous change per guest to use. Does not say that anywhere. Got a good price on site. But hotel was a joke. Didn't even check in. Disputing charge. Was not what was advertised.
