Great hotel. We had an evening meal there and the food was fantastic. Rhodri on reception could not have been more welcoming. Will stay there again.

Room was very clean on arrival, didn't need to ask for iron and ironing board as already in the room which was helpful. Having to pay extra for use of the pool was a surprise

All good. External bike storage was not sufficient so we were allowed to store bikes in rooms for £50 deposit.

The breakfast was very good for buffet with cooked options. It’s well located for Winchester but not a hotel with charming views and paying for parking on top of room charges needs looking at. Why not make it inclusive ? A fridge in the room and capsule coffee maker would be more useful than a safe.

This was our first visit of the property under the new name and branding. The redesigned foyer and common areas are appealing and well designed, our family room was clean and comfortable and nicely put together in terms of style. The restaurant area is less successful in terms of design and we would not rate the breakfast above average. However, five stars to the entire breakfast team (open kitchen included) for their warm hospitality.

It shouldn't be called Hotel &Spa. The name is misleading, the spa has nothing to do with the hotel is totally independent a separate business. It just happens to be inside the hotel. Disappointing really.

Friendly staff all round. Room spotless. Nice bar area. Plenty of parking. Can't fault at this price point.
