I stayed in this hotel for 7 days. The room and setting were good and the customer service was excellent, they always answered my questions and helped me when I needed it, room service always answered right away and the food was in my room in minutes. They assisted with every question about recommendations and hotel amenities. There’s a couple things that I would like to highlight, a hold of $150 for each day of your stay is made on your card which was not disclosed anywhere before we arrived. All the snacks/ drinks in the room are kind of pricey and not included in your stay which is kind of crazy since the price of the stay is already high. We had plenty of raccoons visiting, the only issue is that they peed in the pool and were getting inside, we also found a bat, we took it out so it wouldn’t drawn. But I would not recommend getting a room with pool if your skin is sensitive. The water went out almost every day at certain point of the day and came back after a while. The light also went out a couple times during different days. Internet connection is not the best but not the worst. The hotel food is pricey and is not very good. The location is a little bit far from everything about 30 min from the main restaurant/ bar locations. But I do got to say that the room was always clean, they come clean your room twice a day and they are super friendly! The staff from the massage area are also super nice and sweet people and the massages were amazing. We had the best sleep.

Absolutely beautiful hotel. Every design detail was well thought out - rustic but elegant. The entire staff were so pleasant and helpful. The beach was gorgeous with plenty of comfortable options to sit or lay down on. The view was wonderful. Swimming in the ocean was tough due to the amount of sargassum but the two pools were very clean and had stunning views. Though the weather was warm (last week of April) there was a breeze every single day which made it very comfortable - a very nice surprise. My favorite thing was how you felt you were staying in the jungle with beautiful lanterns lighting your way. Exceptional stay!

If you're looking for a five-star resort with a very natural feel, this is for you. The amenities, restaurants and staff are top notch. Still very equal friendly. It's an adventure, just walking around the property. Unfortunately, the ocean was full seaweed. The resort did have workers there every morning keeping the sand looking pristine.

This is a 1 Star hotel charging 5 Star+ prices. Beware Expedia ratings are misleading. - no coffee or tea in room - you pay for everything including slumming it, - no hot water in the room for 2 days, - Gekko in the thatched roof disturbing all night (no sleep!!) with droppings from the thatched roof falling on you, - small irritants like charging for extra drinking water in your room (2 bottles provided) in a very hot climate, - asking for a top up for any small item… feels like a money grab, - charging automatically 15% gratuity without asking for everything - even in the included breakfast package, - service staff were very nice and hospitable, - front office has a lousy attitude, - ambiance of Forest + Beach very nice

We just returned from our third stay at Be Tulum this February, and once again, it delivered a beautiful and memorable experience. There was some seasonal seagrass, as expected this time of year, but noticeably less than we’ve seen in April. The team does a great job keeping the beach directly in front of the resort clean and enjoyable. Beach service stands out — attentive, prompt, and seamless without ever interrupting the relaxed atmosphere. The service overall is impeccable. The staff is warm, professional, and consistently accommodating - when bikes weren’t available one day, they quickly arranged for us to use bikes at a neighboring resort. Breakfast, which was included, was lovely each morning — fresh, well-presented, and a perfect start to the day. We typically dine out in town for lunch and dinner, so we can’t speak to the other on-property dining options. Be Tulum remains one of our favorite romantic destinations. The atmosphere is intimate, peaceful, and effortlessly beautiful — the perfect place to disconnect and reconnect. We look forward to returning again.

Great hotel! Good service but expensive restaurants, Chicago downtown prices!

The hotel was very unique. Check-in experience was good... the drive to the hotel was a bit nerve wracking but, that is probably any resort in Tulum. Food while we were there at the resort was good, not amazing, but a solid breakfast. Service could probably be improved on, but they were busy and I could have learned the language. Room was clean, unique and shower was amazing. The acoustics in the room on Saturday night could not keep up with the music from the surrounding areas. Beach was well kept... everyone was fighting the seaweed the weekend we were there. Staff were very pleasant. We asked for additional waters, and they were very prompt with the delivery of those. I appreciated not having a TV in our room. My wife really enjoyed the spa. Plunge pool was a bit too cold for enjoying... but would have been perfect for late spring or summer. We will be back again but will stay for longer... and enjoy some of the classes that they had available.

Very much enjoyed my stay at Be tulum. Staff was attentive and polite, rooms were as shown very spacious and secluded. Area around resort was safe and walkable to several other properties as well as eating shopping and convenience store.
