Great location just 3 blocks south of the Esplanade where you will find a few of the best restaurants in Helsinki. Very classy retro hotel. Wonderful staff. Excellent breakfast. Good bar and snack service. Helsinki is a beautiful and safe city. Very clean! Highly recommended.

Very helpful and friendly staff at the front desk! The hotel is a very short walk to the market square and nice shops and restaurants. Beds were comfy and the room was clean and lovely.

Amazingly well maintained room - looks brand new.

Excellent size room immaculately presented, very comfortable bed and pillows. Great size shower and bathroom also. Aircon was not needed at this time of year so no comment there but fan was quiet. Curtains blocked most of the light but have seen better. Breakfasts were well presented in a limited area. Location handy for parks walkable to the station with bags about 15 mins, to harbour about 7 mins, a range of restaurants within 10 mins. Staff very attentive and helpful 24 hrs.

The Hotel Fabian in Helsinki was an amazing experience. The staff went over and above to make our stay amazing. The rooms were spacious, clean and the beds very comfortable. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic with so many great healthy choices and the kitchen staff were marvellous. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. A 5 minute walk to the waterfront.

The “City View” looks out into a building. You can’t see the city at all. No soap in shower had to request it. Night staff Christian was rude. Everyone else was nice. No upgrade or any accommodation offered when I asked about the lack of city view which I paid for. The beds were nice but everything else seemed very budget which was a surprise considering the price of the room

Perfect hotel for a business trip. Within in walking distance from the harbor. Clean and brilliantly dressed rooms.

The staff is great, the hotel was very clean, breakfast selection superior, and the location is excellent for walking or transit. The hotel sits at the base of a lovely park with interesting shops within 5 minutes walk and there are many good restaurants close by. I've plans to stay there again next May while at a festival and I've recommended it to others planning to attend.

Simple and comfortable. Breakfast is tight in space and quite basic.

We stayed there for 5 days. Very quiet & convenient location a little away from the city crowd. Staff is excellent. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Coffee is good. Breakfast is ok. Will certainly come again.

It was a good stay but the room was too cold and an electric heater was required. The shower drained slowly. Comfortable in size and very well located.

The only other review I have ever written: is Room 408's Book (describing its comfort and cleanliness) Interior and exterior properly maintained Front desk professionals, informative and very personable. To all the staff, especially the breakfast crew, my thank you As a lounge enthusiast I thoroughly enjoyed the comfortable couches, chatter and local beverages service (well done!)
