Unfortunately for foreigners, it’s a little out of the way from the city highlights . Word of warning make sure the cab drivers reset the meters on pick up , my cabbie was a scammer. That was the only disappointment of the whole trip .

Saixiang Hotel is well-maintained, clean, comfortable, and convenient for our purpose. But we love Saixiang first and foremost because of the wonderful staff working here. The staff members at Saixiang are extremely professional, kind, and helpful. They make us feel welcome and at home. From the reservation to the front desk, from the restaurant staff and the cleaning crew and the concierge at the door, everyone was courteous and nice and eager to help out during our stay. Every request was fulfilled with speed and efficiency. The breakfast buffet is good for both Chinese and Western-style foods and drinks. We have stayed at Saixiang almost for ten years now and it has stayed wonderful year after year. We look forward to coming back. We highly recommend this hotel for leisure and business travelers, especially those traveling with family.

We have been staying at Saixiang Hotel since 2015. We love the staff at Saixiang. They make us feel welcome and comfortable, and over the years many become like friends. Our special thanks to Sun Jing, Liu Qing, Zhang Sheng, and the hotel driver Mr. Li; Zhang Lei and the staff at breakfast buffet; and the concierge Wang Hanfeng and others. They are very nice and professional, and we think they are the best staff ever. We do hope the Executive Lounge will open the next time we visit~

The staff makes the hotel. We have come here for five years now. The staff members--Mr. Zhang Li, Ms. Liu Fang, Ms. Sun Jing, and Ms. Zhang at the Business Center --have gone out of way to make our stay comfortable and pleasing.

Central location and good access to local area for restaurants and site seeing.

I was happy when I saw the lobby but when I saw the room not same feeling

I enjoy this hotel because it is close to the facility I visit for business. The hotel is as advertised. The lobby is very nice and the staff is pleasant. The rooms are modern and I enjoyed the shower which allows the bather to choose between an overhead rainfall effect and a handheld shower head. The room I selected had a king bed and large windows which could be opened to allow outside air into the room. The air quality outside was poor so this was not an option I used. Overall, I would recommend the hotel for the business traveler. It is my intention to stay here again on my next trip to Tianjin.

great for business travel

I booked this hotel because it's the closest star rated facility to my conference. Still, it takes 20 mins by taxi to get to pretty much everywhere (town center, train station, my conference location). There is a shopping mall with some nice restaurants about 20 mins walk from the hotel. Other than that, the surrounding area is just office buildings in a newly developed area of Tianjin. The hotel itself is nice, clean and very spacious. Breakfast buffet is huge, and staff is courteous.

Compared to the hotel I stayed at in Beijing this hotel was the same price, but a lot nicer. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

I enjoyed the hotel.

The hotel is a great little gem in Tianjin. The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of the development zone. The breakfast is worth the hotel alone. The beds in the delux suites are better than the executive suites. The executive suites tend to be on the hard side for my comfort but the hotel is a pleaasure and the staff are very catering to service.

Excellent hotel. There really isn't much around the hotel, but there is good access to the express road, and the city outer-ring road. Strongly recommend if you need to stay in the area.
