I have not had such a bad hotel stay in a long while. The front desk staff is fine even though one of them said one of our room numbers out loud. The beds are not very comfortable, and when I checked in the wheels of my bed were not even locked so the bed was sliding and I saw there were holes in the walls behind the bed. Besides the holes, the walls are paper thin and I could hear every word being said in my neighboring rooms. They also had a linen delivery scheduled for 7am and it was so loud through the window it woke me up. When the cleaning staff is working you can hear them slamming into the walls, loudly dragging furniture, I even heard glass breaking. So overall very uncomfortable stay and I expected much better from this brand.

The fire alarm woke up all the guests around at around 4 am. It was a false alarm.

The elevator buttons don't work, the pool is very small and only opens from 11AM-6PM. In the room I stayed first, the towel rail is too close to the toilet, and I was hit in the head twice.

Beds are as hard as rocks - I usually like firm beds but this really was like sleeping on the floor. The king room we ordered is not a real king but 2 singles but together on wheels so it wasn't stable and massive gap in middle.

Good was good and the waiter was nice and accommodating. The food has good variety. However the front desk staffs weren’t as nice as many other DoubleTree we’ve been too. A lot of things we have to self help plus pool was closed and they were not ready to open although there was no lightning or thunderstorms. Parking space was tight and difficult to manoeuvre. Overall stay in the room was nice with good nice room and TV Prog for the kids. However the key card was a real headaches as we were continuously locked out due to key card malfunction. Nice place to stay as near to many attractions.

Have used here before. Handy with a short walk from train station and into town.

Everything was brilliant apart from the beds… like lying on a sheet of rock. Can’t fault otherwise!

I stay here 5 nights overall ok bt they dont have microwave not smart tv and towels r very bad need to buy new towels

Breakfast was very over priced for a continental one!! Definitely not worth it!!

This is a great hotel to explore Girona from, with a short 10-15minute walk into the main city and a 20 min walk to the old town. Unfortunately the pool was closed during our stay so we couldn't make use of this, but overall the hotel was clean and the staff very friendly.

The staff were nice and helpful. The hotel was nice and clean. We just had issues with water overflow in the bathroom while taking showers. Also, the beds were 2 twins together and we expected a king bed.

Great hotel with excellent service. I had a problem with the lock on my door and was quickly moved to a different room and had free breakfasts added to my stay. On the negative side, the furniture in the rooms was chipped and shabby and and the showers were designed to soak the bathroom floor every time they were used. The rooftop terrace, pool and bar seemed to be missing most of its furniture - 6 sun beds is not enough for a hotel with four floors of bedrooms and the bar are had no tables just chairs which were generally moved towards the pool to make up for the lack of sun beds. The location is a bit off pitch - 10 min walk to the station, 15 min walk to the old town.

It was very good overall. There were few inconveniences, but I'm sure next time this will improve because I plan to go back. The safe deposit box in the room good not.be fixed. Thus inconvenience. Slippers and bathrobes have asked ahead of time. Had to ask later. It was delivered but too late to be used. These were not used. Thus inconvenience

The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the train station.,and an easy walk into downtown Girona. Friendly helpful staff and a good breakfast buffet. I booked the half board package and the dinner was well worth the extra price I paid.
