Beautiful

This is a wonderful quiet hotel in the country with great staff and impeccable service. The main rooms are in an old country house, but there are very comfortable large rooms in the Annex as well. Breakfast servies an abundance of fresh cooked foods to order, in addition to a large buffet. One on the reasons this hotel is so great is the dedicated staff who work as a small team and support one another. It is not a big corporate hotel, and that adds to its beauty. I will go there again and again when I am in the area for work.

I stayed here for work and was very pleasantly surprised with how lovely it is. My room was very comfortable, I had a wonderful sleep and woke up feeling very refreshed. The food was good too, I had dinner and breakfast at the hotel and was very happy with both. The grounds are beautiful and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

Very remote and a bar that reluctantly served me a drink at 9.30 and waited with the keys to close the bar.

Room was spotless but very small with no storage and no mirror above the dressing table for doing hair. Staff were all great

We stayed in a suite. The room decor was dated. Speakers were falling off the wall and dusty. Grout in bathroom tiles not clean. There was no couch in general seating area in room so could not sit next to or cuddle partner while watching television, only separate high back chairs. Although spacious the room decor felt dated with no warmth. The walls could do with decorating as marks on them. Room Key constantly got stuck in room door. The positives are the bed was comfortable and breakfast was tasty.

Greeted well. Room clean with a coffee machine and nice shower gel. Very spacious. Its an old building so condition as expected. Check out simple too.

Friendly welcome at reception, easy parking. Room was clean and pleasant, although would have benefited from a shower screen. My accessibility request was also arranged.
