As we were only a few guests, our breakfast was made to order, piping hot, scrambled eggs, and sausage. Self serve toast and coffee. Our room seem to have been newly renovated, fresh, clean, with a small coffee pot and a fridge. All in all our stay was very pleasant the view of the lake and added bonus.

Location was great for some peace, and price was reasonable for being waterfront. The room was mediocre at best - we left by 6am because we just couldn't sleep in the bed. The room and property could be beautiful with a little bit of improvement and some updated furniture in the room. We had an ant problem in the washroom, and the tub was covered with rust. Likely wouldn't return unfortunately without there being some improvements 😕.

Lovely clean hotel in the style of an old fashioned motel facing the water. Enjoyed watching the families playing by the water.

The hotel was in need of a refresh/renovation. The room was large but dark. There were not enough lamps. Refrigerator was a good size. No microwave. Bathroom was very clean but dated. You entered from the outside like a motel. The door was not very secure. You could see light coming in all around the door. The hotel was located on the lake but had no beach. There was a very large floating deck where you could sit and enjoy the sunset. The included breakfast was adequate, not much variety. The best part of the stay was the staff. We had a few issues that were dealt with promptly, efficiently and with a smile.

This property is not the fanciest but the location on beautiful Lake Simcoe makes up for it. I had a delicious dinner and breakfast. Comfy bed and comforter and pillows.

Check in was quick and easy. Breakfast was good - the chef prepared our hot plates for us rather than keep food heated up Buffett style. Nothing fancy about this hotel but the beds were comfortable and staff were friendly.

The rooms were clean and the staff were helpful. Our two nights stay was comfortable. They also provided a complimentary breakfast that included some hot and cold items. I will stay again when visiting the area.

It was nice to have breakfast included. The buffet was acceptable - eggs, sausage, pancakes, etc. But expecting adults to eat off paper plates with plastic cutlery is ridiculous.

Had a lovely time. Stayed 3 nights in a king room ground floor late may 2026. The front desk was pleasant and helpful. Couldn’t use the pool as it was too cold. Paddle boats are available at the beginning of June so we couldn’t enjoy that. The restaurant is decently priced and breakfast was hot if you wanted. The highlight of our stay was Koana Spa. Went for facial and massage. They are RMT certified so benefits paid for the massage with direct billing. Ladies were FANTASTIC.

The place is falling apart, my entry door had holes in it from what I can only guess was police kicking it, or a domestic. It’s the type of place dreams go to die

Room was clean, staff was friendly; we did not get to eat the breakfast or use the amenities, so cannot rate that experience. It’s a cute location and set up!

This place has a beautiful location but is in need of upgrading

The facilities/building at this hotel are very run down, a lot of the buildings aren't in great condition including the stairs and the outside of the buildings need some repairs. The room had a fridge but no microwave and we had to go into the main building to use the one there. We checked our bedding and it had stains on the sheets so we removed those, the room smelled like someone had been smoking cigarettes in it recently and the breakfast was a very standard cheap hotel breakfast. The staff were welcoming when we got there and the view of the lake is nice but that's about it.
