Carpets are dirty and my room was next to the toilet and directly above the restaurant so very noisy, the bathroom is very dark, if you want a restful night's sleep this place isn't for you. Breakfast was a continental and they should make this clear when they advertise free breakfast, location is good but I won't visit again

Good alternative to characterless chain hotels. Good value for money, run by very helpful real Italian family. Free parking on site. Would definitely go back if in Loughborough again.

Hotel does have some parking but the majority of parking is either on street or at NCP near Tesco. Decent pubs in the immediate vicinity of the hotel restaurant which looked good

Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room was very clean. It’s a small room but only because it’s a historic beautiful building. It had everything we needed. We ate in the restaurant. The food was superb. Good price too. Highly recommended. 👍

A fantastic stay with very friendly andaccommodating services.

The room was in good condition, the staff were friendly, helpful and courteous. However the heating in the room did not work the first night, there was plumbing pipes going through the room which made sounds all night, and there was a green fire exit sign inside the room, which was lit all night.

Clear communication on location and parking prior to arrival. Th staff were friendly and quick to show me to my room, which was much bigger than I expected. It could do with a lick of paint but at 6ft5" the shower head was plenty high enough although doors were a little low and be careful of the large chandelier in the middle of the room. I dined in the restaurant and the food was amazing, overall I would definitely stay here again.

I was in Loughborough for work, so needed something at short notice - Caravelli fit the bill perfectly. Walking in the place smelled amazing - the benefits of being attached to a fantastic restaurant. The staff were very helpful, and explained everything really well. I was shocked when I got to my room - it was HUGE, with a real fireplace. Far from the usual bookings I would usually make. The bed was big and comfortable, and the room was warm. I didn't have breakfast, as I had to leave early, but again - looked amazing. I'll definitely be back

Great Italian restaurant and good service

Not very welcoming, was expecting after reading other reviews

Brilliant breakfast, the best continental I have had. Great choice and service Bed was comfortable, room cosy, and plenty of self service tea n coffee options. Only problem in the room was that the tv remote would not control the tv, so had to go to the tv to change channel's etc.. I did teport this but nothing was done!

Welcomed in nicely car parking very tight Food in restaurant outstanding - superb taste and good value Room excellent - better than last time I stayed -chose a better room ! On the negative then someone else parked selfishly in the carpark making it extremely precarious to get out - should have been stopped and was charged at dinner for something i didn't have - only noticed today

Not the best entrance via the back door and steep narrow stairs to the rooms.

Very tight parking space but ok, stayed in the Huntingdon room, which only has a slated blind in window, there was a curtain rail but No curtains therefore light shined through all night from the building nearby, the room adjacent has some sort of water issue bubbling constantly, So overall had very little sleep. Will not return!

Good hotel room for a very reasonable price, and the restaurant is top drawer
