I like this hotel very much. Rooms need a little renovation but who cares. Dinner - five stars.

so this hotel is placed in a very good location, the building has historic architecture representative for the location, preserving the charming of the past. the interior keeps the old architecture very nice ... the bus station to the slopes is near the hotel. room was cleaned, and everything else was fine in the room, however this is the first hotel were we ran out of toilet paper, literally. with all respect to the employees here is my awful experience with this hotel we were prepared for skiing however the hotel had no ski room "ready" so boots could not be dried skies were left on the hallway boots taken to the room ... the door to our room was made out of board and not only that but you could literally see through the cracks and every single noise was propagated in our room, 3 days in a row there were some guests (3-4) who were starting chatting on the hallways around 22:00, after a few drinks, up to around 1-2 AM and they were very loud, keep everyone up until late, even though nobody from the hotel bother to politely ask these guests to lower their volume a bit because it is disrespectful to the other guests the room temperature was very high and the thermostate was removed from the radiator so you could not control the temperature, I ask the staff to lower the thermostate temperature to 20C but it never happened, we had to keep the window open if you are an early bird and wake up early in the morning there is no way you could get a coffee until the staff open the bar maybe after 7AM for the the breakfast they were totally unprepared for the number of guests they hosted,, we only had 2 out of 7 days vegetables, I ask for boiled eggs and got could eggs from the fridge, second time we got warmed eggs from the fridge, we got 1-2 portions of omelet every 10 minutes ... dinner serving was also disastrous, starting at 19.30 in a 30C room, people were all sweat waiting 30 minutes or more for the starters, I have never finished earlier than 21:00 the diner, although they knew the number of each portions for each course hotel has no free parking, and only a few parking spots, way less than the number of guest we were avoid this hotel if you are a large groups of skiers that want to get first on the slopes I stayed in many places in Italy, with large groups of people and never encountered such poor service

I recently stayed at this hotel and, unfortunately, my experience was far from pleasant. The room was unbearably hot, making it extremely difficult to sleep or relax. To make matters worse, the staff at the reception were unfriendly and unhelpful. Additionally, even that we have been a big grup with children's dinner was served far too late, which was particularly inconvenient for my young children. Trying to keep them fed and content while waiting was a challenge we shouldn't have had to face during our stay. When I approached them about the dinner time issue, they seemed disinterested and did not offer any solutions or alternatives. Overall, my stay at Excelsior was a disappointing experience. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Beautiful and cozy family run hotel. Comfortable and spacious family room. Lovely spa. Great location, right in the middle of the town, 10 min walk to the ski lift (but you can take a shuttle bus just outside the hotel). The staff are so friendly and helpful. We had some special dietary requests which they were happy to accommodate. Would definitely recommend
