Safest place in the UK ☹️Soulless. Avoid. If this is the future. I’m out of here. After a 14 hour shift. No one there. Waited an hour for someone to answer the phone to then guide us through a Crystal Maze challenge to get our keys and type in the access code to enter the place. Room had a smell of disposed vapes and late night Chinese takeaways sat in bed on your own wondering where it all went wrong.The shower was that sad and weak I could here it crying during the night.

A combination of the worst WiFi ever so don't stay here if you need to work and the noisy guests in room 2 who woke me up at 5am shouting and making so much commotion leads me to give this poor review .

No real bar facilities, didnt do evening meals or cooked breakfast ,free parking but getting into hotel from main road & out abit of a knightmare with road being so busy

Gaining access was difficulty’s we were given wrong access code to obtain key. Then the central door key code didn’t gain access on 3 separate occasions. One of which people were unable to get out of building when I was trying to gain access from outside. It seemed to work intermittently and certainly needs attention. The cleaning staff were very friendly and replenished tea , coffee and loo roll. A pleasant stay but property requires attention.

We did not see any hotel staff face to face hence the bar was closed. The room was cold and the electric heater was inadequate. The room was clean, the shower was hot and the radiator was hot in the shower room. It was self check in and check out. We were grateful having a ground floor room. Thank you

Room was ok a bit tired ,mould round shower head and bath didnt drain very well ,doors we're rattling all night with wind

The room was dirty,the base of the bed was broken,the bed was unmade,the bed linen and towels not clean and was used by a previous guest, the bathroom and shower cubicle have both not been cleaned and the toilet roll did not have the folded triagle confirming the room has been cleaned - it is such a shame as it's such a beautiful hotel with such a lot of potential and all it needs is some upliftment and tlc,I had a look at the garden and it's ever so beautiful , all it neefs is a little bit of care anf attention

After booking a received an email supposedly from the hotel which detailed opening hours of the restaurant. This email turned out to be auto generated and incorrect . There is no restaurant and the entry is wrong . Reception staff offered to prepare a microwaved meal for me which was great customer service but not the point . I couldn’t get the WiFi to work and the reception staff connected me to the staff WiFi which unfortunately wouldn’t support the uplift of files due to speed .

Contrary to website there is no restaurant or bar or reception or welcoming staff. Neither is there any instructions on the new set up of self check in or directions to rooms not in main building. The least they could provide

There was no staff at reception after 6pm, but a 24/7 telephone number. Staff were friendly and helpful. Then room was nice and cozy and clean, with complimentary breakfast and tea coffee. The only issue was there was no hot water for shower or bath as the hotel had plumbing and this caused inconvenience for me. I was offered another room to shower; however there was no time as I had been delayed and had to leave. No partial refund was given!

Out of season so nothing open at hotel

On arrival told "no WiFi as it being fixed later on" Bar also shut as WiFi is not working! It was never fixed... There was a working network called hotel tho! Lukewarm shower in morning which leaked on the floor! No body about it mention on departure. Porridge & croissants free in room for breakfast which the kids enjoyed. Used to do a full breakfast once apon a time.

No one at the accommodation for check in, bar, restaurant closed. No breakfast available. Poor value for money.

the restaurant isn’t open from friday to sunday which isn’t really fun when your travelling from overseas, and the days they are open the hours are just bad over all. in our room we didn’t really get any internet we had to be next to the door to be able to use our phones.

If you’re just after a good clean & safe space to lay your head this fits the bill. The staff are lovely & friendly but don’t expect any food service or accessible drinks etc. whilst an incredibly lovely building there is very little going on there.
