A fabulous traditional pub in a great location, with lovely walks from the door. It is spotlessly clean. The food is good quality and very good value. It has a wonderful cared for courtyard garden next to a stream and is full of blooms in the summer. Blessed with exceptional staff, we're looking forward to going back soon.

We were in the twin room, which has the longest bath that I’ve had the pleasure of reclining in for a long time! The rest of the room was also faultless and the dinner / breakfast were both excellent. It looked like they were a member of staff down in the bar and it was a bust summer’s evening but they coped ok and the food service was very efficient. We will happily stay there again.

Had an incredible stay at the Pack where my fiancée and I got engaged! The food was lovely, the staff were great, and the atmosphere and location were perfect.

Small, but comfortable room with everything I needed. There were a couple of maintenance issues that I would not have expected. For example, when I wanted to watch TV the remote batteries were on their last legs and, after turning on the TV, it did nothing else. I could not change channels or volume or even turn it off. I had to cut the power. The toilet also ran rather noisily every so often. The breakfast was good, parking was easy and I enjoyed my overnight stay.

Very friendly staff especially the guy on breakfast on Wednesday and Thursday. The only downside was no Bacardi

Beautiful looking pub with incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Bar food delicious and breakfast very tasty. Overall a wonderful visit. We benefitted from glorious weather too.

Lovely old pub with accomodation upstairs. Room was a little dated but had everything we needed. Staff were friendly and helpful. We had dinner and breakfast - the food was excellent.

Everything was very clean, staff were brilliant & fun. Thursday night quiz is a must, great fun. Great location.

Room comfy and clean. Tea , coffee and water in the room. Hair dryer. Super meals in the bar/ restaurant. Breakfast has a nice selection of choices. Veggies, vegan and meat eaters catered for.

Well located and good value for money,parking abit limited.Set in lovely location easy walk to town Room clean but basic,TV channels not easily accessed ,needs updating . Prefer not to pre-book breakfast so can cook as and what you fancy ,longer breakfast times would make for more relaxed experience.

A beautiful, cozy hotel that feels like a hidden gem. It’s perfectly located just a short stroll from the heart of Hathersage village, making it an ideal base for exploring the area. There are plenty of attractions nearby, so you’ll never run out of things to see and do. The hotel itself has a warm, inviting restaurant and genuinely friendly staff who make you feel right at home. The room was spacious, clean, and well-kept, offering a comfortable place to unwind after a day of adventure.

A lovely hotel. Rooms were super clean and the amenities were excellent. My trip didn’t turn out quite as planned and they were kind and thoughtful and really helped me out. Would love to return.
