Incredible place in a beautiful central location in Mayrhoven. The reception lady Karin was one of the nicest people I have ever met. She was always helpful, super cheerful and very accomadating. She upgraded us to a larger chateau when we arrived late, free of charge and allowed us to late check out when we got back from a hike later than we expected. Highly recommended and I will definitely stay here again if I'm ever back in Mayrhofen. 10/10!

It was good. The proprietor was friendly. Gave good advice as to trips etc. the room was clean, but noise from other rooms hinted it was an old and/or wooden building. Good breakfast though, especially the scrambled eggs. Weak coffee (an americano)

Friendly guesthouse, close to the centre of town and the two lift stations. Rooms were a good size and always warm. Fantastic views, good breakfasts, good value for money. The only negative - this is a traditional alpine chalet (not a modern imitation), and the soundproofing is not great. We had a 'nocturnal elephant' in the room above, who kept us awake every night, stomping around his room.

We stayed as a family of 5 in the little house called " Ravennest" . My family absolutely loved the stay. The house has a rustic but cute feel to it. Simple but clean. The doors and some of the ceilings are low and one need to duck to get through the door. The view is absolutely beautiful. The staff was very kind. We would totally stay there again .

Dissapointing that hotels.com still haven't replied to my complaint after some 4 days. The hotel charges an extortionately large "final cleaning" charge (42% of the room charge if only staying for one night). Your website fails to make this clear and buries this detail in very small print. This was detailed in an email to your customer services which has not been responded to. Hotel was lovely but would not stay again due to this charging discrepancy.

Great location just a short walk to the main street, clean and comfortable room. Good choice at breakfast too. Plenty of parking in their private car park.

We stayed at the Stumph House approx 1km from the main hotel. The house is self contained with reasonable amenities and a fantastic view of the mountain across the meadow. Whilst there is no specific issue with the house, over the course of a week some things do start to grate a bit. The interior is very old fashioned, with small rooms created by the buildings conversation to accommodation. The upper floor ceiling height is very low as are all of the doorways and stair head clearance. I am 6 feet tall and spent much of the time crouched or bumping my head. There is not a sofa or any comfortable seating in the house. This is not a problem for most of the time but if you spend a night in, it becomes very uncomfortable. So overall a good location for getting out and about but not for a cosy evening!

We liked place very much, the appartment is furbished in typical tyrolean style! Owner was very kind and willing to help. The surrounding area is really fabulous. Only one remark: since the cleaning of the appartment have to be paid additionally, we expected that the room will be cleaned every day which was not the case.

In terms of value for money this is an excellent hotel.....the standard of furnishing and décor is not superb, how could it be at their prices...but it is very comfortable, clean and tidy, outstanding views from every balcony and the sun terrace. Maria, the proprietor is welcoming, helpful and a thoroughly decent lady. Irnis( probably wrong spelling) who helps at breakfast speaks perfect English and is a delight to meet. Lots of advice about where to go...ask and help is willingly given. Excellent breakfast...fresh, tasty and good choice. Only a few minutes walk from the cable cars and shops. Mayrhofen is an excellent centre to explore the magnificent Ziller valley. Turn left out of the hotel and go to the bottom of the road to find a Spar supermarket. If you are staying a week think about a Zillertal active card...unlimited access on bus and train and one ride a day on a cable car for €55 for 6 days. For couples and families who love the wonder of nature and are not looking for 5 star accommodation then in our experience the Bruggerhof is a good place to choose. If you have never been to the Tirol you have missed one of the most beautiful and welcoming places in the world.
