This is something I don't usually do, leave feedback but wow this place definitely deserves it. I can honestly say I couldn't find any faults. Lovely friendly pub with stunning scenery. Rooms spotless clean with a proper wow factor, breakfast was delicious with plenty of options. All staff was very attentive nothing to much trouble. Very close and convenient to the The Bolton Abbey where we attended a wedding. I will definitely be visiting again and will highly recommend to all my family and friends. A place not to be missed. In my opinion if this place showed on 4 in a bed it would definitely come 1st place.

Overall I would come back and stay again, great place with great staff... couple of tweaks. Firstly Addingham is a beautiful location, great scenery out of the area. Great place to rest up before exploring North Yorkshire. The hotel was lovely, clean and really friendly. Bar had a good choice of beers and wines. The evening meal was a highlight and me and my wife enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Staff were attentive but didn't intrude. The bedroom 'big splash' was great. Clean and tidy but showing some signs of wear in places. My wife loved the bath and the shower / bathroom is excellent. The big issue was because the room we were in was at the top of the building it was hot, never mind it was in the middle of a heat wave as well. One fan was provided but did very little. Not really the hotels fault but maybe a £500 purchase of a small portable AC unit for those freak times might be worth. Having the window open was good and helped a little but then the noise of traffic and a really really annoying bird did not help with the sleep. Then the storm hit which helped a little with the heat but again the noise. Sleep was not great but not really the hotels fault. Breakfast was a slight issue. Again the service and staff were excellent. But some of the breakfast items were not great. The hash browns and black pudding had been deep fried to very crispy and greasy. The poached egg was very sour, too much vinegar in the water. The chefs phone kept ringing and it was loud across the dining area... To be fair if some one dropped a jungle track to it, it would have made a good night club tune. Over all great would be back.

Had a superb meal here. Saturday night steak deal is excellent, and I can thoroughly recommend the Heifer Pie. Excellent value for money and really good produce in a lovely atmosphere. Couldn't fault it.

This is the second time we have visited the Craven Heifer pub in Addingham. On the first occasion we had the Steak and Ale pie = 10/10 utterly delicious and great value for money. This second visit we had Donor Kabab with Sweet Potatoe Fries, and again = 10/10 (honestly) Myself and my husband both agreed the Craven Heifer is now our very favourite pub to eat and drink........ Plus, the service from the very friendly staff is excellent 👌 10/10

Visited for Sunday lunch with my daughter,lovely place with friendly helpful staff-and a good pint of Hetton ale! Excellent roast beef and giant Yorkshire pudding,vegetables well cooked and generous portions. Spoilt for choice with the pudding menu,I had the chocolate orange cheesecake whilst my daughter had the Smores dessert.Both were delicious and such good sized portions that she had to have half of hers boxed up to take home for later!(which the waitress very willingly sorted) Thank you,we'll definitely be back!
