Excellent value. Ideal location, a block from the train station. Walk to downtown shops and amenities. Quiet room.

Great Hotel

This is the most beautiful hotel I've ever stayed in. Within walking distance of the train station, shopping, and the Goat, the room was comfortable and quiet. The staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast is amazing, with Swedish, Continental, American, and English options. I highly recommend staying here.

After 16 hours of intercontinental travel and train rides through Sweden, I am so glad the Elite Grand Hotel was my destination. The staff was welcoming in every interaction. I am particularly fond of the clerk who explained how the bus payment system worked. She kept at it until I understood that I should pay for my ticket in the app just as I entered the bus. It was important that I not waste any of my 90 minute paid-up transit window standing around on the bus stop. That's what l call looking after your guests. Breakfast was plentiful and leisurely in pleasant rooms.

Lovely old building. Warm welcome. Clean, quiet and comfortable room. We were given the choice of shower or bath. Temperature was comfortable. Wifi worked very well. Breakfast was excellent. Central location. Very easy to walk from station and to reach restaurants and shopping. I’ll definitely stay here again on my next visit to Gävle.

Went to Elite Grand Hotel in Gävle and stayed there for a few days and would love to go back. The staff were all be dry attentive and accommodating. The breakfast buffet every morning is to die for and I definitely recommend checking out the wellness spa. It is the perfect hotel to go to when you want to relax and enjoy the area.

It's beautiful. I love historic hotels. The radiator in my room didn't work well so it was cold. The breakfast gets full quickly and there isn't enough seating, but I would stay again.

I spent a very comfortable night here in December 2024. The staff were amazing, the location superb. In fact, everything was wonderful. I really wished I could stay longer.

I enjoyed this hotel and my stay in Gävle very much. A beautiful, grand old hotel that has been restored with modern conveniences added! Very convenient to the trains and busses and an easy walk to shopping areas and the historic parts of the city. I plan to be in Gävle again next year and look forward to another stay here.

I had a great experience staying at Elite. The location is great and the access to the railway station and the shopping areas is good. The breakfast choices were great. Highly recommend it.

Väldigt platta kuddar. Rummet var extremt varmt och när man kom ut i korridorern kunde man andas igen... frukosten var inget speciellt, allt fanns men smakerna var sisådär. Synd att apelsinerna inte var uppskurna utan låg hela i en skål. Trevlig personal i vart fall.
