We spent three nights at Aristi Mountain Resort at the end of a 10-day trip to Greece, and it exceeded our expectations. The photos and reviews do not do it justice. The resort has about 26 rooms spread across several stone buildings on the mountainside above the charming village of Aristi. Our Superior Double Room felt like a private cottage, with its own entrance, spacious bedroom and sitting area, large bathroom with jacuzzi tub, and outdoor seating. Thick stone walls and shutters kept the room naturally cool, so air conditioning was rarely needed. Breakfast was excellent, served indoors or on a terrace with spectacular mountain views. We also enjoyed dinner one evening. The food and service were excellent, though prices were higher than in the village. A more casual daytime menu would be welcome for snacks. The pool was rarely crowded, but shade was limited. The same was true of the restaurant terrace, where a larger roof would improve comfort. Opening the dining room to the outdoors creates a lovely atmosphere but also attracts flies. The poolside lounge, terrace, and bar are underused. Offering drink menus, light snacks, and more shade would make these spaces more inviting. Overall, the resort has a relaxed, luxurious atmosphere that we thoroughly enjoyed. The indoor pool beside the spa offers a quieter alternative, though direct access to the adjoining terrace would make it even better.

Aristi Mountain Resort is a wonderful place to experience the beauty of the Zagori region. The location is simply outstanding, with stunning mountain views and easy access to some of Greece’s best outdoor activities, including hiking, rafting, and fly fishing. The hotel itself strikes the perfect balance between simplicity and luxury. As an eco-resort, it feels authentic and connected to its surroundings while still providing all the comforts of a high-end retreat. The rooms are comfortable, elegant, and designed to make the most of the spectacular setting. The food is excellent, featuring fresh local ingredients and traditional flavours prepared with great care. After a day of exploring, the spa is the perfect place to relax and unwind, offering a truly restorative experience. If you’re looking for a beautiful mountain escape with exceptional scenery, outdoor adventures, great food, and a relaxing spa, Aristi Mountain Resort is highly recommended.

This stay exceeded our expectations! The location was stunning, perched on the edge of a mountain, up above the village of Aristi. The room was spacious and beautiful with great amenities. The breakfast buffet, which was included, featured many different items. We ate on the patio overlooking the amazing view. Service was outstanding as well. Be aware the property has many steps but visiting the Zagoria region requires much climbing up and down as you tour the many villages and sights. We enjoyed the indoor pool and the friendly staff. Highly recommended!

fabulous stay. Lovely rooms with beautiful views and a very good kitchen. pillows were too hard but no issue to replace these with feather ones only disappointment was that there is nowhere to sunbathe outside of the summer season as the outdoor pool area closed

It was such a pleasurable and restful stay. Everything was perfect - the rooms, the staff, th spa, the excellent restaurant and even the cat that " adopted" us. Wonderful

Perfect place to stay to enjoy the Zagoria region. The staff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The breakfast is wonderful and dinner at the restaurant was delightful we were blessed with a rainbow over the mountains while eating dinner. Truly magical setting, there is a charming walkway to get to the main town. The spa area and pool are nice after a day of hiking. I can’t wait to return to this special area.

Aristi Mountain Resort exceeded our expectations. A beautiful property nestled in the mountains. The staff was very warm and professional. And the breakfast spread was outstanding and to die for. You won’t find a better resort in the area.

This is a magnificent resort, one of the best I've stayed in. The property is beautiful and kept meticulously clean, the breakfast is delicious, the dining is great and the facilities extensive. Most of all the staff are warm, friendly, helpful and professional. I want to go back!
