Loved it. Beautiful room, clean tidy. The building is beautiful, loved the old world charm mixed with modern areas and facilities. The lounge was in a time warp. Breakfast was nice, staff were friendly and welcoming. Perfect location for us too.

Room was clean and a nice size. Shower and bathroom facilities very good. Bed really comfortable. Staff were kind and friendly.

Lovely stay and very friendly staff. The new décor is also great. The only negative is that the room rates have risen quite a lot and they don't include breakfast anymore.

We were only staying for one night but the bathroom was spotless and the bed was comfortable. Bedroom was equipped with refreshments but the decor was a little tired. Lovely breakfast and a good choice of hot and cold food. Very pleasant staff in all areas.

The breakfast was a bit late starting. Hot food was slow. Coffee was not fresh. Otherwise the breakfast was great.

The Wellow had a lovely view and was decorated to a lovely standard. We loved our stay and the staff, service & food were good. Just a couple of small suggestions for the room. A mirror above the kettle station would be helpful for doing hair as no plug near the long mirror. Perhaps tissues & bottled water for the rooms to reflect the price.

Bathroom was small, needed somewhere to be able to sit in the room.

Pun pretty standard but was very surprised at the quality of the room which was clean and comfortable with good quality furnishings and bathroom

It was a very good night stay, the place was very clean and comfy. The only issue we found was the noice first thing in the morning and the locks on the doors were very noisy so we could hear everytime the room next to us left and came back.

Lovely first floor room, overlooking street, very comfortable and well decorated. Very quiet. King-size bed was great, but mattress was very soft. Otherwise all really good. We arrived on a the day everyone was going home from the festival so staff had been really busy all day. As a result a number of things were off the menu, including croissants for breakfast! However staff were lovely, really helpful, very good and would go the extra mile.

The rooms were very clean and tidy but chairs in the rooms would have been welcome. The staff were very helpful about my folding bicycle.

Central location, upstairs from the pub. Very quiet at night, rooms were generous and the bathroom exceptional. Linen and bedding was of a very high standard. Breakfast offered, £15pp . Dog friendly. Value for money, our expectations were exceeded on every level Highly recommended.

Food choices good. Management ready to listen. Would have been nice if there was a chair in the bedroom.
