Room was excellent, Staff were so lovely and the food was absolutely brilliant both dinner and Breakfast - would 100% recommend

Great place to stay. Extremely quiet and seculed. The Food magnificent. The bed was really comfortable. However the staff were Gen Z and not partiulary interested in my comments regarding maintainence. Faulty Electrical socket - risk of fire and Running cistern to W.C.

Lovely hotel, lovely room, friendly staff. Recommend to book the three course menu (changes regularly) for dinner at the hotel. I had venison ragout and rack of lamb as main and both were superb. Dinner room is a cosy place, good wine list. Dinner was preceded by some drinks at the hotel bar which, for the size of the hotel has an excellent selection of spirits at very good value-for-money prices. You select your breakfast choices in the evening from an offer ring of various fresh juices, tea pot or cafeteria of coffee and a full English (or various alternatives). Overall we enjoyed our short stay a lot and will return if/once back in the area.

Staff excellent and friendly adding a great personal touch. The Room was prepared and ready with breakfast pre-ordered and the staff very accommodating. Great they have parking on site with nice toiletries and amenities.

Very friendly even offered a light supper as we were arriving late from a ferry crossing. Breakfast was really good

Great stay. The food was fantastic and my breakfast omelette was the best I’ve ever eaten. Staff are attentive and friendly. The room was comfortable and clean.

We were unable to try the dinners as we were visiting family who had made other plans but the room, service and breakfasts were all excellent, in a nice quiet location, and just what we were seeking. Many thanks.

This hotel is wonderful. Rooms are beautifully decorated with everything you could need. Comfortable bed and plenty of space. We had an evening meal which was probably the best meal ever!! Breakfast was equally good. Abby who served us was a gem. Nothing but praise. Would recommend and stay again.

The service was friendly and efficient. The food was superb. Overall outstanding attention to detail.

A warm welcome which included delicious home made cake. An excellent breakfast each day and quiet, comfortable room. Would certainly recommend this hotel and may well visit again in the future.

Food excellent and staff drlightful

We had a wonderful weekend at plantation house, the value for money is absolutely out of this world. Our room was beautiful and quiet, the staff were lovely and breakfast was incredible.

This is a really fabulous little hotel. I was surprised and delighted by the lovely room and the menu choices at dinner were excellent. A great breakfast, too. The staff are pleasant and helpful and nothing was too much trouble.

Great trip. Food wonderful as was service. Very comfortable. A gem.
