The hotel was beautiful. Great location. Parking was limited (first come first serve and usually full. At least when we tried to park there). Luckily, our relatives lived close by and we were able to park at their place.

We stayed one night at the Mere, and overall it was fine, but there are some points to mention. The hotel itself is nice & clean, but showing its age in places. Feedback on the bed pillows - they are a little bigger than a nice throw cushion on your couch. Maybe they are standard size? For a king-size bed, king-size pillows or, at the very least, queen-size would be expected. The second issue was that we got two parking tickets for a total of $160.00 from Indigo. We checked in (around 2:30 pm), parked in the hotel lot, gave our plate number, and the first ticket was issued about 4 hours after that. The second ticket came the next morning. Now, after having an enjoyable evening in the city, we are stuck making sure the tickets are voided - which the person at the front said would be taken care of. (Make sure to take pics of your tickets, because staff take those tickets, assuring it will be looked at). I won't forget to mention that the hotel itself charges $22/night for parking, so that's also been charged to us. Unfortunately, this is not a one-off, as family members had the exact same experience two nights prior! To the hotel staff/management, please determine where the issue is - this has left us & other family members rethinking where our next stay in the city will be. So, it's a nice location to attractions in the city; Cibo's was nice for dinner, (but they do not serve breakfast). The Molton Brown toiletries in the room - LOVE!

Great stay. Been here a bunch of times

Staff was not very informative as to why price on total from expedia and price being charged was double. Then told me one price and put thru a completely different price on my card. As all this was happening 2 people where attempting to steal the bikes outside of hotel which staff had to leave to deal with as no one else available. When tried to cancel room staff not very helpful and told me that unable to cancel then was able to cancel. Was very confused as customer and not impressed

I didn't rate amenities because I was unable to use them because of my schedule. The hotel was nice, the area was nice and the staff was very helpful.

I’ve stayed at Mere Hotel a couple times now, it is in a convenient location for going to downtown events, and walkable distance to the Exchange District. Beds are comfortable, bathroom is glass with barn door and a shade that pulls down. Fun for girls night out or romantic evening out, especially with a view of the river.

Great hotel, we enjoy staying here whenever we are in the city

Nice property in a convenient location. Room was modern and comfortable with a beautiful river view. Parking was a disaster, though. We were charged for parking upon check in, but when we returned to the hotel after an evening out, there were no spots available. Checking in at the desk, I was told that the parking charge would be reversed, but that I needed to find parking on the street or elsewhere. Very inconvenient at 10:30 on a Saturday night.

Very pleasant

The hotel is perfectly placed along the waterfront and is close to the forks( walking distance) and many different restaurants and breweries. The parking lot was very tiny with room for maybe 15 vehicles, the person at the desk did say the if the lot was full that they would take care of finding me a spot. But didn’t elaborate where that would be. There is no pool, hottub or spa services offered so I don’t know why they would have a very luxurious bath robe in the room that you can’t wear anywhere on the property. The room was clean and modern looking. The floor to ceiling window into the bathroom was weird as I wouldn’t want to watch anybody I was with taking a deuce…. The a/c was also hard to adjust as it was set to 66 which was too cold for me and when I adjusted it to 68 the entire room went humid and fogged all the windows and mirrors. The a/c was also very loud and sounded like a bowling ball hitting the floor when it stopped. The bedside book lights never held their position either. The overall stay was great. Just a little overpriced when they have no “extra’s” to offer you other than the location.

Great boutique hotel, great location, helpful staff , very clean and modern rooms. Only downside is they are not entirely forthcoming about the parking situation or they are letting the next door restaurant patrons use hotel parking. They say its first come but during my stay I had to find street parking which was difficult. The closest public pay parking is not convenient. They should implement reserved parking for hotel guests only and let people know when lot is full. Otherwise if you dont have a car its a great hotel.

Decent sized room however wifi was quite slow even on the ground floor

The parking lot is too small for the number of rooms, so we had to park on the street. My car window was smashed in and my stuff was trashed. The area nearby the hotel is really rough, so until they fix the parking situation, I will not stay there again

Great location. Lovely rooms.

If you want your car broken into it’s a great place to stay. There is not enough parking to accommodate the amount of guests so you will have to park in sketchy area of downtown. There are way better and safer choices in Winnipeg.

Clean and tidy, enjoyed the new Nespresso machine, toiletries very nice. The room layout and lighting is lovely. Miss having an onsite restaurant/bar, but Cibo, James Avenue Pumphouse and Nonsuch are very close and are all excellent choices. A/C on the noisy side, but we were able to adjust the fan. Hallway noise during the night was disappointing, but that was due to thoughtless guests.

Overall a fine stay, but the air conditioner was very loud and needs attention.

It was a one night stay and we got there late and left early so not much I can say.

Air conditioner definitely works but the washroom is a little weird. No kink shame, whatever floats your boat. 😆
