I get that this is a budget hotel, but the bed was unacceptable - only two very thin, old pillows and a sunken mattress with worn bedding. We booked a deluxe room with a renovated bathroom, but the bathroom we got was clearly outdated. It felt like we were given a standard king room instead. Vintage furniture is fine, but you still need to invest in the basics - decent pillows, towels, and bedding are essential.

Ide give 3 and half stars for the room as I stay in five star resorts but gave four because of the bathroom as it's Soo clean and spacious and excellent staff and it truly does have character, nice old fashioned feel to the whole place. Definitely recommend over other places and prices.

My stay at this motel exceeded expectations in every way. The room was impeccably clean, well-furnished, and thoughtfully maintained for comfort and convenience. Staff were highly professional, courteous, and attentive, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience. The location is ideal easily accessible yet peaceful making it perfect for both business and leisure stays. Exceptional value for money. I would not hesitate to return or recommend it to others.

Great location right in the centre of Cessnock, plenty of parking, an easy walk through the town. Staff were friendly and very helpful. The family room was spacious and cosy, stayed two nights, 3 adults, 2 children, the decor was tasteful and interesting.. stay includes breakfast that of breads, spreads, cereals, eggs, fruits, milk, juices, and selection of teas, even a filtered water tank. The common areas were lovely to sit in and enjoy meals in. Thank you, Vine Valley, for an enjoyable stay. Highly recommend, and we will be back.

Really noticing the difference with the new team! I've stayed here before but this time it honestly felt like a whole new motel. The new management seems to be genuinely invested in improving the guest experience. The room was cleaner, the check-in was smoother, and I even got a call to make sure I settled in well. That kind of service was missing before — glad to see the effort being made!
