Perfect location close to the gates of the walled city. Easy parking once the system is explained. Enter the public car park gates at the front of hotel, park and walk to reception where the correct tickets can be obtained for parking. 15€ per night charge. Rooms are immaculate and have a small fridge and pod coffee machine. Decor is excellent and has deck access to most rooms. Good if you smoke, not if you don’t. Reception was efficient and polite. Note the bath had a hand held shower with no facility for hands free use. The drinks and breakfast are overpriced and underwhelming when there are bars and cafes just inside the walls. Definitely worth the stay except for the shower.

Great hotel, so close to the entrance to the medieval city. The reception were so helpful and booked a fabulous restaurant for us. Also we were able to park our camper van securely which was good. We will return and dine at the sister hotel’s restaurant next time

Beautiful and peaceful hotel but in such close proximity to the medieval city. However the highlight was the staff - so accommodating and friendly. Can’t recommend this hotel highly enough.

The location to Cite is perfect---just across the parking lot. The parking offered by the hotel is also convenient and safe. They were very helpful in making reservations for one of the Putelat restaurants, which was an excellent experience.

This modern clean well designed and comfortable property was extremely close to the old city. Parking was alongside. Bed was very comfortable with all mod cons. Highly recommended.

Last minute decision for a couple of nights in Carcassonne - the hotel is right next to the main gate to the walled town.

This is a beautiful boutique hotel, very stylishly decorated. The room we were in (9) was quite small, however. Additionally, I had an issue with the hair dryers (I tried two) that kept overheating almost immediately. Nevertheless, I would recommend this hotel based on its excellent location.

Staff, nice breakfast though not worth €18. The room was very warm even with the air conditioning on.

Boutique hotel in excellent location. Reception staff were professional and helpful. Breakfast fresh and plentiful. Rooms are individually decorated and most have views of the nearby castle. Unfortunately our allocated room was on the ground floor with terrace but without any view and located near the service/maintenance areas. Room size was adequate but floor was uncarpeted and cold. Bathroom design difficult with no storage space.

In planning, I did not appreciate how close this hotel was to the old walled town. It is across the road from one of the main gates (and you dont have to walk up a hill for this gate!). There is a lovely picturesque cemetery acros the road to which makes for a very scenic view. Private parking is out the back (although you still have to go through public carpark to get into it). The poo, looked very inviting but I just didnt have the time to use. This hotel is very modern and art-y, but rooms were small and strangely designed. As I have experienced elsewhere in France, the toilet is at the front entry (in a small room), then you have to walk across the bedroom to get to the sink to wash your hands. A bath sat about 1.5 metres fom the bed. There diidnt really feel like any room to open my suitcase. There was a lovely private outdoor area where one could sit outside, but the chairs looked pretty uncomfortable (I didnt have the time to really try them though). Main thing was there was apparently no access to food in this hotel. You could make a booking for Franck's restaurant in town, but there was no room service, no ice machine, no minibar food. They did give you a lovely baked good on check in - that was my dinner. Maybe if I had a bit more time and had planned a bit better, I would have enjoyed this hotel more.

Best way to discover Carcassonne. Near the gate, quiet and great patio/pool area.
