The hotel has excellent view and excellent service. Hotel employees are very nice. When we came back from dinner, the bed was remade, and we also got a gift from the hotel.

Great experience. The hotel is in a great condition. New and luxury while an affordable price. Staff are friendly. View to the river, city skyline and Tengwang pavilion is fantastic during sunset and night. If you visit Nanchang, it will be the ideal place to stay at.

A warm welcome at check in, as i said, 'hi', they replied to me in English, check in is quick, helped us with our luggage to the family suite on the 63rd floor. Inside the suite there is a fruit basket and a welcome note. This is our first time stay at this hotel for which we booked 7 nights in the family suite. This suite is a big studio(about 1000 sq. ft.) with a Mickey Mouse theme. There are 2 beds(king and double), desk, 32" Samsung TV mounted on the wall and a fairly big washroom. The washroom has a soaker tub, and several movable shower heads all in one partition. The wash basin and toilet are also in its own separate area. The uniqueness in that, they are all separated by see-through glass, but there are pull down the blinds provided, if needed.. Breakfast buffet is real good, with a variety of westernize Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and American. At night, this hotel is surrounded by light displays from the nearby hotels, the Teng Wang Pavilion, and from Qiushu Square which can be seen from the 4th floor window inside the hotel. The water dancing light show can only be seen at the Autumn Water Square(Qiushu square station), the nearest subway station is Wanshou Palace, is a good 10mins walk from the hotel. The welcome fruit basket, To the buffet servers who remembered my double espresso cafe and grape juice every morning, pack us breakfast on our last day and the maid who brought in extra towels upon request, for all this, I give this hotel a perfect 5 out 5.

The hotel was opened a little bit more than a year ago so the facilities are pretty new and well maintained. We missed the flight to NanChang first night so we called hotel to keep your reservation, it went well and check in was smooth. We stayed in a family suit in the upper level the view is pretty awesome. We called service department for a few things, i.e. our kids locked safe, the response was prompt and things got resolved. The breakfast was in the second floor and was mixed with local varieties and typical western style plus many different Sushi. Our kids end up like the rice Congee a lot. There's a small kids play area out side the breakfast Cafeteria. Swimming pool on roof top of 7th floor is big and nicely built, with music playing under water. Gym is big enough, but the AC wasn't turned on in very hot summer days so gets very sweaty after work out. The hotel tower can be seen from afar and a kind of landmark for the city. It's in the old part of NanChang, we looked there are few new and high end hotel on the new part of city on the other side of Gan river, but we like the location since our visits were mostly on the old part. Excellent view for the entire river front. Staffs are mostly friendly, responsive. Fruits was placed after room service.

Ok location, nice large rooms, staff was ok. But the housekeeping and the tidiness of the room can be improved. Breakfast was nice. One person at the front desk was quite helpful in helping me with directions

We spent 2 nights at the Swiss Hotel in Nanchang. The hotel lobby and rooms are gorgeous. The breakfast buffet was good and staff pleasant. We were very disappointed that the pool wasn't open since we were travelling with children. It appeared as though it is under construction. It will also be stunning when finished with amazing views. Nanchang is not a walking-friendly city but the surrounding grounds of the Teng Wang Pavillon are across the street for a quiet stroll. You have to walk to the other end accessible through city streets and then pay an admission fee however. My only complaint was that there was no way to make coffee in the room and also no coffee in the lobby. You had to go to the restaurant for a quick cup.

One of the best hotels we have stayed in. Upgraded to river view room on 64th floor. Excellent view and night lights. We invited friends for dinner at the Restaurant and the service was impeccable. Suggest that the hotel include the Chinese name of the hotel on its website as none of taxi drivers at airport know it as Swiss International. To attract foreign visitors, it would help to have someone who is English speaking at Reception. Thanks for an excellent experience.

I stayed at this hotel on 3 separate occasions within a 2 months time span and can say it was overall great. The location is close to a lot of the tourist areas and close to the old part of the city. Get the river-view, it's highly recommended. Staff at the hotel are all very helpful and accommodating. If you're female and traveling alone, you can get the empress rooms which are located on the 60th floor and for females only. Although my only complaint would be the cleaning service. They knock and clean around 9 oclock in the morning for room service, so if you don't want to be bothered, remember to push the do not disturb button.
