Very nice rooms and staff. Free coffee and tea all day. Beautiful views and incredible breakfast. Some rooms a little small and not as many amenities ( such as fridge). Overall would highly recommend!

Hotel located very close to city centre and in quiet area, adjacent to a large park and 5 min walk to Botanical gardens. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Limited car parking available. Modern glass lift to 4th floor. Breakfast adequate with cooked and cold foods and plenty of coffee. Dinner very limited in choice. Room 411 was in the attic with very small window but an electric fan was provided, upon arrival the room was stifling hot.

Akademihotellet was such a lovely place to stay during our week in Uppsala. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The room was perfect. The breakfast was outstanding!!! We would highly recommend staying here!

Breakfast was varied and scrumptious. I appreciated the onsite parking. But I didn’t know I should have booked it ahead of time. Perhaps I missed that info on the third-party booking site I used.

Lovely staff, facilities, room and location. Within site of the glorious church and walking distance to almost everything. The only thing that could be improved is access to charging for electric cars. There is a charger but it was blocked by cars that were not charging during my whole stay. Not a dealbreaker because of all the other advantages including gracious and helpful staff, but I mention as it would have been perfect to have access to the level 2 charger. Thank you for the very nice stay in your beautiful city!

The room was clean and tidy. Perhaps a kettle could be included. Breakfast was plentiful and very good. The receptionist and staff were friendly and helpful.

Absolutely perfect. One of best hotel experiences. I would emphasize - finally one hotel which has proper pillows, not straw filled socks.

The hotel was in the perfect location, the rooms were super clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was 10/10. We brought our two dogs with us, and the staff made sure there were bowls and a bed in our room for them (but make sure to let them know in advance if you are bringing a pet). We will definitely be staying again!

Lovely staff, great location, thoughtful touches in the hotel like cosy seating areas with blankets. My room was perfect, and looked out onto the cathedral spires. I was very happy to see plant-based milk and butter at breakfast with a few other vegan additions too. Highly recommend and I’d definitely go back.

Great little hotel, in a perfect location, although parking is a bit limited. We enjoyed our stay and front desk clerk was so helpful and engaging!

What’s beautiful spot for a stay in Uppsala. This hotel is located in historic area within a few minute walk to the cathedral, botanical gardens, museum and more! Waking around is absolutely gorgeous as if you are strolling through old tiny cobble stone streets. The hotel itself has gorgeous views to the cathedral which is so beautiful lo look in the day time and at night. Every morning hotel breakfast is served tight near the reception area in their cozy cafe. All the staff was very polite and more than helpful on many occasions. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is planning a visit to this beautiful historic town in Sweden.

I have stayed in May hotels in Uppsala and this is my favorite.

Overall, our stay at Akademi Hotellet was wonderful. The rooms are comfortable, the location is perfect, the breakfasts nice and the staff was awesome. The only downside is the tiny bathrooms. But then it is a very old building and the conversion into a hotel was what they could make of it. Overall, enjoyed our stay as it was close to many of the most interesting attractions in Uppsala.

We were able to do a load of laundry!! No charge!
