The room I was in needed the upholstery and carpet thoroughly cleaned . If you bent down from the chair it didn’t smell nice at all. Also pillows and duvet needed washing . I have to say I have acute sense of smell!

I had a single room with balcony, was clean and big enough for 1 person. Breakfast was great, buffet style and I managed to get a table next to the window every morning. I was on the 6th floor so the view from my balcony was great.

The food choice for breakfast is good but no fruit salad this time.The room was clean but looking a bit tired the woodwork and curtains didn't pull together. Lovely large balcony overlooking the beach. The staff as usual polite and helpful.

Excellent location. We booked a sea view through a third party online agent and on arrival that room had been oversold so we were allocated a side view room. While not what we booked the view from that room was still lovely and the hotel is so well designed it was hardly a side view. The staff were lovely and the room had everything we needed. Breakfast was all self service but with a good selection and decent quality. For reasons we didn’t understand, the bar which was crowded at peak times and difficult to find a seat, was air conditioned to an uncomfortable level. We preferred to go out for drinks for this reason. There are plenty of restaurants close by to choose from. On the whole we really enjoyed our stay and we’d definitely recomend.

We went with a sea view room with a balcony this time. Always have a great stay at this hotel. Breakfast is an all you can eat buffet style with loads of cooked food. Great way to start your day.

Very pleasant 2 night break in Eastbourne Everything was good - plenty of parking outside hotel with a parking permit, food was good too Had a standard double on the 7th floor & it was spacious enough & certainly not cramped I did view a sea view/balcony room & that was superb All staff were so very friendly & very accommodating

Nice breakfast menu from full English to cereal selections , fresh fruit , cheese, slicedmeat, croissants, omelettes , boiled eggs can also be ordered . My room was at the rear but not concerned about view. Excellent room service as well.

Excellent breakfast both in variety and freshness. The chef was most obliging when I asked for my eggs cooked a slightly different way - and nailed it!

Very clean rooms, modern and fresh bedding, towels etc. Delicious breakfast buffet selection. Fabulous view of the beach from the room and the balcony. Cheap parking £2.50 for the day unitl 11am the next day. Great stay!

Room much smaller than picture. Noise from wedding 2 flrs below. Breakfast dull - no range of breads, limited fruit, no vegan yoghurt. Not very tasty or imaginative for the price. Bombarded with information on arrival, felt spoken at, not spoken to. Gym very limited.
