Hotel is great and we really appreciated the pool and spa as we were walking the Camino. Unfortunately the pool is closed until midday so we couldn't swim in the morning. The room was very basic and no AC. Window too low to leave open at night. We stayed in a twin near the pool. The beds were uncomfortable too. I'd stay again for pool (only).

What a great experience we had at Balneario Acuna! The staff was so helpful and kind. We had messed up on our reservations and they immediately fixed it and got us a room hours before check in time. The grounds were gorgeous!! The pool was exceptional! We had the most relaxing swim after our long Camiño walk from Pontevedra. We decided to treat ourselves to a spa treatment called the Camino Pilgrims treatment. It started with a one hour soak in the most amazing jacuzzi pool with many jets and a tall flowing circular waterfall. There were also showers that had three different temperature options for your entire body. Unfortunately the bungalow that we stayed in didn’t have air conditioning but we woke up feeling rejuvenated from the spa treatment and enjoyed a delicious breakfast that was included with our stay. We would recommend this place to anyone!

Wonderful place to rest and relax.

We stayed here one night to enjoy the thermal pools while hiking the Camino de Santiago. The room was nice/simple, bathroom was very nice, pools (indoor spa pool and outdoor pools) were excellent and the breakfast was exactly what we needed for a good start to the day. I will stay here again if I do the same Camino path.

The room had mold at the ceiling of the bathroom and room. The door of the bathroom opens against the toilet. You can find rust in some of the fixtures and everything was old and in bad condition. At breakfast there was almost nothing and the coffee tasted bad.

Large property and a large distance to walk to motel rooms after check-in. Nice pool.

Best kept secret… the food in the bar downstairs is phenomenal - service is a little slow - must give yourself time - don’t go super hungry. The basement thermal experience is a must - especially for Camino walkers

Walking the Camino so a quiet room and lovely warm pool much appreciated. Breakfast wasn’t the best on our trip but sufficed.

We slept here during the Camino de Santiago. The hotel is old-fashioned but it fit for our purpose, as we had to sleep there one night. The rooms are standard in size and set up, the bathroom was relatively standard but it had an unpleasant smell in the morning when we left.

This hotel was so disappointing. From other reviews I expected it to be a little outdated, but in addition the bathroom was moldy, the beds were springy, and the room was noisy (inside the main building facing the river and street). I hoped that the thermal spa would redeem it, but it was very small and not very warm. We got the dinner from their restaurant, and the food was okay but very overpriced. Breakfast was a minimal continental breakfast.

The indoor hot springs are amazing. The room facing the river created the perfect atmosphere for a sound sleep, in addition to the beauty of the view. Great breakfast. Another perk: the outdoor pool and warm bath

Basic hotel and room was comfortable and spacious. Food was very disappointing including dinner which was expensive for what was offered and served half heated with cold vegetables. It made me sick the next day. Breakfast was rushed and chaotic with limited choices.

The property needs upgrades, beds are not comfortable and the breakfast was the worst we had in our 12 days in Portugal. Good thing they are some great cafes and restaurant nearby. The property does offer a hot spring pool and spa service that was A . It made our stay overall good. The staff were very friendly expecialy at the taverna

Right on the Camino and overall comfortable stay. Hotel is a bit aged, but room was clean and quiet.
