Amazing property. Fantastic views. Staff were so helpful

We were underwhelmed. No USB ports for charging electronics. Have not experienced that in a hotel room for over 10 years. Plumbing was sub-standard. Drain in sink in bathroom drained extremely slow. Still some water in sink in the morning from evening before. Toilet- had to hold lever down several seconds to get complete flush. All taps were loose at base. No glasses in bathroom for oral health. Kitchen had water all over the floor, I almost slipped but I caught myself. Called switchboard and maintenance came and cleaned up. It was dishwasher that was leaking. Broken glass in dishwasher. Dishwasher not emptied prior to us arriving. Mirror in bathroom not wiped clean. Lamp in living room dusty on shade. We’re not picky, just an expectation for the price paid per night ( over $500/night)

Property was beautiful

Need more from the cleaning staff. The check-in was amazing, twice now my room has been ready before the check-in time. Thank you for that!!! The amenities are great and the rooms are very comfortable.

Out pool was good and nice view

Our King suite was spacious and comfortable and we loved our private large terrace with an incredible view of the park and the lake. The rooftop pool and hot tubs were excellent and again with the amazing views. We borrowed bikes to ride down the waterfront and found the location perfect for walking downtown and by the water. We will definitely stay here again!

Perfect location

For the price of what you pay to stay here, the extra fees are atrocious! Not only do you have to pay for parking every day, you have pay the resort fee and then the Bellstar fee. It's pretty awful. The resort fee should be consolidated for everything. Paying over $3k to $4k when staying there, these added costs are ridiculous. I had to pay $2.50 for a toothbrush and the smallest tube of toothpaste ever!!!! The Grand does not charge you, and they give you free water in the rooms. The only reason I am staying here is because The Grand was not available. It's not that the rooms and amenities aren't good, it's what you have to pay extra and you don't even get water.

Beautiful views

The waterside view is fantastic. The size of the room was very good. The room could have been cleaner and the bathroom smelled of mold. The bed was comfortable.

The Royal Kelowna was nice, but not great. It has a strong location and the rooms were tidy, but overall the hotel felt like a property that used to be excellent and has slowly stopped trying as hard. The lobby is not very grand, and there were small things throughout the property, like parts of the elevators, that seemed worn down or in need of attention. The maintenance staff were great, and the rooms themselves were clean, but the overall management and guest experience felt a bit tired. The front desk experience was odd. The staff did not seem especially interested in guests or in making the stay feel smooth. We had an issue where the showers in our room were not working properly. After spending an evening in the room, we were told it was “impossible to fix” and were offered another room. We packed everything up and moved from a Premium Suite to a regular suite, which was not the end of the world, but the front desk staff were unable to process any sort of refund or adjustment. I was told I would have to come speak to someone at the front desk about it later. They saw me walk past several times after that but never followed up or mentioned it. The in-room amenities also felt cheap for the type of property: basic shampoo and conditioner, and a poor-quality hair dryer. It gave the impression that costs had been cut in places guests would definitely notice. Overall, it is an odd hotel in a great part of Kelowna.

Beautiful stay. Amazing view and very clean and well kept. A little dated in some areas but hardly worth mention. We did splurge to stay here though. Quite pricey. Probably can’t stay again. Too expensive. But nice stay
