Beautiful, quiet spot and nice clean room. The only issue was the beds were not great.

Nice clean room, friendly staff, good pub and parking

We had a very warm welcome from the friendly staff and were shown to the room which was clean and bright. The food that evening was excellent, and as it was a warm evening we spent a pleasant time sitting outside with our drinks afterwards. Continental breakfast was served promptly at 8 am and the addition of fresh strawberries and blueberries was a definite plus! Check in / check out was swift and efficient. Just a couple of minus points:- The room door could only be opened with the key - there was no catch to keep it in the unlocked position if one of us wanted to go out. The TV remote was difficult to understand, programmes we thought available seemed impossible to access and there were no instructions. I appreciate that this may have been down to a previous guest "fiddling" with the settings but was frustrating to find late at night when too late to rectify. The only sockets were almost unreachable below and behind the unit - I am not as agile as I once was (unable to crouch or kneel} so charging my phone was challenging! And finally a safety point - the exit from the Pub is on to a very busy fast road and close to a bend so turning right was made even more difficult by the luxurious growth of a plant right on the corner of the building which impeded the view to the left.

Room was nice and clean but the shower was very stiff to turn on. Wasn't quite the breakfast I was expecting but can't complain for the price. The staff were very welcoming and helpful.

We had a great stay here, lovely and friendly place. After a day exploring Shrewsbury it was a lovely quiet place and the food was very tasty in the Inn.

Amazing pub/hotel

This is a fantastic spot off the beaten track about 30 mins from Wrexham The room was very clean and a decent sized bath with high pressure shower as well Tea and coffee facilities in the room which were regularly topped up when we needed Bed was extremely comfortable and room was spacious and warm. Plenty of car parking on site The pub itself was beautifully laid out and had a lovely atmosphere And a continental was offered each morning 2 things of special mention that really stood out 1 the home made pies were absolutely incredible and full of flavour seriously one if the best pies i have had in years 2 the staff The staff went above and beyond they really looked after us Special mention to Shannon who i would hire as my own front of house any day The stay was so good we booked an extra night last minute Thank you Shannon and the rest of the team for a amazing stay When we are back in the area we wpuld definitely stay again
