Great little cottage close to Lorne and Torquay- right at the start of the Great Ocean Road. The amenities are fantastic - except body soap which they provide (but is tiny!) and that the salt is nearly empty and hasn't been refilled. Small details I know, but they make a difference. The linen is clean, the kitchenware is enough to feed a family of four, the fridge is big enough to store a week's worth of food. The bedrooms are good size and they bring wood for the fire immediately within the hour of asking. The fireplace is gorgeous. We've loved it here. There are tennis courts and a hot tub that we haven't tried yet, so cannot comment apart from them looking good and people have been playing tennis there. Highly recommended for a family visit to the great ocean road.

Aireys inlet is a small coastal town but central to lots of lovely drives and beaches. The cottages are in a quiet area, in a group of 4 .we stayed at a dog friendly cottage that had a dog run down the side. Owner/ manager is a lovely person, supplied wood for the fire when he knew it was going to be a cold night and fixed a maintenance issue quickly. I think the bed was advertised as a queen but is a double but that's not a huge issue, plenty of blankets a fan for hot weather but no a/c . Suitable place for people wanting to have a base for beach going or a quiet weekend away

Our stay at Split Point cottages was fine. Loved the well insulated spaces and well stocked kitchen. Could update their tennis supplies. I had an issue with post stay payment. Initially it was my own error, however when I requested the payment be processed on my pay day and this did not occur, it quickly became a matter for the police. This was frustrating considering I had already processed payment through a third party days prior.

A wonderful bush getaway on the coast. Comfortable and cosy. Great for a couple or family/group. The wood fire was perfect for winter, and private BBQ facilities would be ideal for the warmer weather. Fully self contained, and has everything you need to make you stay great. Good for short stays our longer breaks.
