We absolutely loved our stay at The Barossa House – it was by far the most memorable part of our trip to the Barossa Valley. Sophia is an exceptional host. Warm, genuine, and incredibly welcoming from the moment we arrived, she made us feel more like guests in her home than customers. We really enjoyed chatting with her – it added so much character to the stay. The thoughtful touches made a big difference. Complimentary wine and snacks were a lovely surprise, and breakfast was outstanding. The fried eggs were honestly some of the best we’ve had – simple but perfectly done, which says a lot. The setting is just stunning. Sitting outside in the evening with a glass of wine, overlooking the vineyards as the sun sets, was one of those moments you don’t forget. Peaceful, beautiful, and exactly what you hope for in the Barossa. If you’re looking for somewhere with genuine hospitality, charm, and an authentic experience – this is it. We would 100% stay here again.

We stayed for our anniversary and loved it. Sophia the host went above and beyond. It’s a lovely old house and the breakfast was amazing! They bought a fantastic family feel to our stay. We are already planning our next trip here with friends as we loved it so much. They arranged a reasonably priced and brilliant private wine tour that was suited to our preferences in wine. 10/10.

What a beautiful and elegant B & B. Sofia and Tia were the perfect hosts and the room was fantastic. Breakfast was delicious and the location was close to everything we wanted to visit. We will definitely stay here again. Sofia was a knowledgeable tour guide and gave us valuable and useful information on the local points of interest. The house cat and house dog also made us feel very welcome.
