I would not recommend the family cabin. The top of the front of the cabin is see through glass without an option for any curtains so the sun lit up the cabin at like 5 am and no one was able to sleep in. Or if you do book it bring eye masks that would probably help solve the problem if you’re okay wearing them. The hotel is aware when we told them about lack of sleep and they said they have been considering tinting it.

Place was fine, we stayed in the cabin. Wouldn't choose it again. Very much in the bush. Cabin floor is cold since it is raised. Cabin moves much like an RV when you walk around. It could be seen as cute and charming. It was amazingly clean for a Cabin in the woods!

Enjoyed our stay great setting and room was beautiful. We ate in restaurant had excellent meal, would stay here for sure again.

Staying at the old Orchard was a great experience and I'm totally happy with the service and the accommodation. For some reason there was an overbooking and what they did for me as they gave me the executive suite. This suite is very beautiful, big luxurious and very, very comfortable. Not only was the sweet beautiful. The food at the restaurant was awesome. The seafood chowder was to die for and the view from the balcony was amazing. I recommend anyone going to the valley book at this hotel. I give this a five star. Every time that I go back to Wolfville, I'll always stay at this motel like I've done for the last 10 years.!!!!

The stay was great, with lots of amenities and great food.

The private cabin was my favorite stay of our whole trip! Quiet, quaint and comfortable beds. Parking right outside our door. Highly recommend, as cabin was cheaper then a room. Would definitely stay here again!

Our shower head didnt work, had to move rooms. Then the coffee machine didnt work, and both rooms smelled like they were smoked in. Very out dated and dirty for the price. Not overly pleased.

We had a cabin with kitchenette. Very clean and everything we needed for a night. Glasses, dishes, etc. were spotless. Staff were very friendly, efficient and helpful from the front desk to the restaurant. Will definitely go back.

The motel room was small but fine. The major problem was that we paid more than C$300 for the room per night but the room was small, not a great shower, no breakfast included, room facing the parking lot not the valley, and the nice deck, overlooking the valley was closed. Overal this property's rooms are way overpriced.

We loved the newly renovated dining room. The beautiful bright layout and colour scheme really optimize the incredible view of the orchard and Blomidon view from the large picture windows. Our waiter was wonderful and the food as always was on pointe! We will be back!

Beautiful property…nice rooms with a great view. Friendly and helpful staff, both at the hotel and restaurant. All in all enjoyed our one night stay.

Valley view rooms would probably be great, but we ended up on the motel side amd we'd wished we had booked elsewhere. Rooms have paper thin walls and doors. Not worth the price for us. Wont be back.

The property was lovely with a nice view, my kids had fun playing basketball. There was also cornhole. The restaurant was beautiful, with great food and drinks. Our room was really nice with comfortable beds
