The room was clean. There was nothing wrong from the reception to the room. However, how could this 4-star hotel not have a lifeguard? Hotels above 4-star standards have lifeguards. It's written at the swimming pool that there are no lifeguards and jumping is prohibited. What if someone jumps in and gets injured, there's no one to stop them. Also, with the restaurant, don't squeeze the food budget. Due to Eid al-Adha, the dishes provided are less varied & at the buffet almost all are bland except for ketupat sayur (but there is no animal protein). Tables in the restaurant cannot be combined because the tables are made of marble. You know the consequences if the situation brings a family of more than 4. And the table is a cafe table, not a restaurant table that is forced with 4 chairs. And one table is filled with 8 glasses measuring 200-250 ml which takes up space. Food cannot be brought into the room unless sick. When I asked for a band-aid / hansaplast (first aid kit), they were looking for it but there was no response (there was no first aid kit). The elevators don't have air conditioning, so the smell from the elevator's engine wafts into the building. The restaurant staff are unfriendly. Sorry, I can't go back.

I finally got to stay at Aston after waiting on the waiting list. Let's start with the good ones! The location is excellent, not too far from the Padarincang alternative road junction. It's right on the seafront, offering a private beach. The beach is right down from the pool, so it's not a long walk and you can reach the beach and swimming pool. The beach is gently sloping and fenced off, so you don't get big waves, but that's okay. The beach is rocky if you go a little further in (towards the sea gate). So if you want to go in the middle, wear sandals. The food is quite varied and rather ordinary. We stayed for two nights, the only difference being the side dishes at the buffet. At the buffet, the food is served by the person. There's a wide variety of bakery items, including donuts, bomboloni, pain au chocolate, danish, cinnamon rolls, etc. Now for the disappointing part: THE ROOM. The walls are very thin. People running around in the corridors are audible. Coincidentally, when we stayed upstairs and next to it, it was EXACTLY as noisy as it could get. I couldn't sleep with a migraine 😭.
