I cannot see how this hotel is a 4-Star property. The rooms weren’t well-equipped & even had locks in the bathroom if you wanted toiletries. No tea/coffee in room … they provided a kettle on request for tea only. Room itself was dusty & needed renovation. The light was hanging from a loose ceiling rose & the bath taps weren’t secured to tiles on wall. The breakfast was included as free, but was very basic (unlike the photos). When I got fed up with the lukewarm filter coffee & asked for expresso, I was charged 5CHF for a lukewarm drink. The only plus point was the location and the lady on reception who was very helpful & a credit to the hotel. Finally, looking at the reviews, I can’t believe they’re all excellent … has the hotel changed hands in last 6 months?

For clean bathroom, great bathtub, extremely smart and polite and knowledgeable front desk would stay here again.In fact, we are staying here again and will do so.In the future!!

Saw moths flying in the room and two big areas of moth eaten carpet Also flying Israeli flag which is odd given the genocide in Gaza taking place

Nice enough place for its location and price. Bit warm and trams outside.

The stay was excellent. The staff were very polite and well accommodating. Easy lift access. The hotel is well connected with public transportation. A mall just opposite has a coop, pharmacy and a few other things for easy grab. The only issue I faced was the toilet, little less lighting, the loose shower fixture, and the curtains were a little weird. However, I feel the stay was good value for the money.

It’s old and poorly maintained. There is hot water but the shower head drops. I was kindly loaned a kettle for the stay. Rather costly for what it is but I was only there to shower and sleep. Thank you

The room's AC didn’t work and was noisy. The mattress in the bedroom was terrible. The bathroom didn’t have proper ventilation, so it always smelled bad. In general, I don't recommend this hotel anymore.

Too much roaches, dirt, dusty, garbage

A short stay for a conference. Provided all that I needed. Convenient for walking and public transport.

10 minutes walk to city centre, nice hotel with very friendly staffs. Breakfast is continental selections with bacon and eggs, good enough to start our day. The room we stay with nice balcony overview the street. The bathroom is very tidy and clean but a bit old fashion. We saw the room next door with fresh look bathroom, maybe next time should request the renovated bathroom room. Overall very nice hotel.

It was a good stay, staff friendly and generally helpful. We did ask for extra pillows and towels, only 1 bath and 1 hand towel in the room, for two people, but did not receive the asked for items. Hotel in a good location for the train station and central city area. The hotel interior was a little tired but perfectly clean.

Terrible breakfast (I could’ve made more food if I was at home) and the facilities were super outdated - I couldn’t believe that it was a 4* hotel! The room card stopped working 4 times during my 2-night visit and although the front desk were happy to help me, the first time I had to wait for over 15-20minutes! Overall a bad experience
