Liked the convenience and location. Room nicely cleaned and serviced. Staff excellent, especially Luigi at Reception who helped us. Breakfast was acceptable but we really appreciated the provision of yoghurt and boiled eggs. No laundry in the neighborhood other than the super expensive hotel service.

Spent 2 nights here as part of a southern Italy tour. Public areas of the hotel are smart and welcoming. The reception and breakfast staff were all lovely and helpful. Breakfast was good continental fare. My room was slightly disappointing. It felt a little unloved, with old fashioned furniture and some shabby fittings. My single, spring-frame bed and soft mattress felt like the one i used to have in the 1960s!! Finally, not sure why but for first 24 hours i had only cold water. Then just after returning from a day out it miraculously started running hot, as if someone had just remembered to put money in the gas meter. I probably was just unlucky and certainly would not advise against this hotel as a pleasant convenient base for a Taranto visit.

The hotel in a good area, easy bus, food, shopping access. Staff is helpful, hotel is clean.

Basic, older hotel. Convenient location. Friendly staff. Very limited breakfast buffet which ran out and wasn’t replenished. ALL breakfast plates and utensils were single use plastic.

Very slow check-in, despite the lady working very hard. The public ateas are very nice and clean. We were assigned a lovely big triple room which was very comfortable. However, the en suite plumbing is very old and falling apart. Good range of choices for the buffet breakfast, but only replenished if you ask. The big turn off was that only very small plastic plates, plastic cutlery and plastic or paper cups are available. If they want to save on washing up, they should at least provide compostable plates and cutlery. This breakfast experience marred our stay.

The hotel looked unloved. It needs a facelift. The staff were lacklustre, not interested - with one notable exception, a young man who was helpful with our queries. Thankfully we only stayed one night.

Clean, quiet property. Decent rooms. Spacious - for Italy - sparkling clean lifts. Spacious bathroom, too, so why the Munchkin sized shower stall? Sub par breakfast. Asked about dinner night before and they gave me a voucher and directions to a place 2 blocks away. Excellent 2-course meal, with wine, at set price of 18E that I paid for next AM at the hotel. Very helpful staff. On-street parking is free overnight, but pay-time starts around 0800. I got a 42E ticket at 0941.

Front desk very nice and cooperative and professional

Very close to old town, short 3 minute walk. Also close to center, shopping etc.,.lots of street parking. Lots of Italian restaurants. Beds are hard but normal in Italy.

Basic room but comfortable. The staff were super friendly .

Location was excellent. Breakfast selection was pretty poor. Water pressure/hot water in shower was pretty poor.

All was excellent!!

Excellent location in the new town, a street over from the busy shopping boulevards, castle and old history island. Room was basic but adequate for one night. It was quiet and clean. Staff were very pleasant and helpful.

Central location for Taranto

Well located on a lovely square. Large and beautiful (if a bit dated) common areas. Friendly helpful staff. Provide secure bicycle storage and are quick to open it (you can’t access it with your room key). Comfortable bed. The rooms are clean but not very attractive.

Fantastic location right at the city center. Plenty of shops and restaurants. Friendly receptionist. Room is basic but comfortable enough.

The hotel is modest but good value for the money. The breakfast buffet is very mediocre.
