Location of Hotel was great (Primo).

Checking in wasn't the best and not offered a welcome drink had to ask when the other couple we were with were offered one. Rooms dated and not great design, waste of space for sitting area when the bathroom is crammed into a small space. Road was noisy and church bells af 6.45am in the mornin.

We are sorry to hear this hotel is closing as it is so beautiful right on the lake and the staff and food and wine were all excellent!

We absolutely loved this hotel. We booked a balcony room with a lake view. There is no air conditioning in this room but we were able to open windows on both sides since it on the corner. The hotel restaurant was closed the days we stayed there, so we had to go other places for dinner. The hotel stay included a pass for the bus and the stop going towards Thun is right across the street and the bus towards Interlaken is about 50m down the road.

Staff were warm, helpful, friendly and courteous. The view of the lake, snow capped mountains and nearby old church was exactly what I desired and very breathtaking. Transportation was accessible to other areas as the bus stops were close by. We were also very happy to be surprised by the hotel with area bus passes to the surrounding areas, this made getting around a whole lot easier and we are very grateful for that. After visiting Interlaken and Grindelwald, which were very congested with other tourists, we were certainly extremely happy with our decision to stay at Bellevue Au Lac. We had a most pleasant stay, Hotel Bellevue Au Lac would definitely be our first choice if we decide to return to the area.

What a beautiful hotel in a lovely, quiet town. Honestly, there wasn't much to do in Hilterfingen - which was exactly what I wanted. The Bellevue is so pretty - charming old building - but so very comfortable. My room wasn't billed as having a lake view - which meant that it was on the side of the hotel. But what I had was a very comfortable balcony, with a stunning view of the lake and mountains on one side, and the charming Hilterfingen Kirche on the other! I could not have been happier with that location. The staff was extremely friendly, helpful and professional. The room was well appointed, the bathroom was terrific with great water pressure and comfortable features. The bed was comfortable, and I slept very well. When I awoke, the clouds from the previous day had lifted, leaving even more spectacular views of the lake and mountains. Honestly, I'd give the Bellevue 100 out of 100 points. My one night there was definitely a highlight of my Switzerland trip.

We arrived at the end of the day after leaving Interlaken. Location was great for us as we were only looking for a place on our way to Lausanne. There is about 10 free parking spots on site. Lady at the reception was great. We had dinner there and it was delicious. We had a junior suite and room was very spacious and we dont have words that describes the view we had from our very large balcony. We could have stayed there all day. There was 2 free drinks in the mini fridge. It is an old building with charm but carpet could be repaced. We had a great stay.

Hotel is quite far from Interlaken, which is about 1 hour bus journey. The building is an old building. Toilet was renovated, but the room is small and carpet is old. Nice lake and mountain view from the balcony. The staffs are friendly. If you are look for hotel near Interlaken train station, this is abit too far for you.

Its a nice option, but take in consideration, that is so far if you don't have own transportation.

Such a lovely hotel, I booked it last minute and they were able to give me a room with a lake view and it was gorgeous. Breakfast included which was nice and they are right on the lake, it was breathtaking The staff was very nice and helpful and the rooms themselves were spacious and comfortable !

We found just right, far enough away from the town centre for a peaceful experience. Town centre easily assessable via bus stop out the front or stroll the beautiful lakeside walkways to get to town centre. Views from lakeside room balcony outstanding. Meals were nice and the female waiters very friendly.

Great hotel and 3 course evening meal was exceptional. However the real star of show was the sun setting over the lake. Only downside was no AC and it was very hot

Best view, big clean rooms, amazing location

Super dog friendly hotel! We stayed two nights with our Corgi puppy and felt very comfortable and pleased with our stay. The hotel has a very nice restaurant with a great view of the lake. The hotel also offers pedal boats and paddle boards to go around Lake Thun and enjoy the view.

Great people, beautiful location, comfortable clean rooms with free breakfast and parking.
