Typical riad stay, clean, quiet and comfortable, amazing rooftop. The internet was really slow though.

The decoration of the rooms is very tasteful. The rooms are wide and comfortable. However, the cleaning was not proper, we found some fruit seeds that must’ve been left by the previous guests. Also, we had to wait to make the check in since the room was not ready.

My friend and I had a lovely 4-day stay at Riad Lhena :) !! The place is clean, cozy, and literally only a few steps away from Fna square and from all Medina's touristic attractions. The staff is always attentive and willing to help you with a smile. The breakfast was really good (I loved your homemade crepes, thanks!)

Nothing is good about this property. Beds were too small like the size of a baby cot (width wise). No hot water in the bath room. Breakfast was way below standard with too many flies around it which made it difficult to eat. Do not use their additional services for external matters like transportation. They will rip you off. They picked me from the close-by train station and charge me as if the picked up from the Airport (three times more).

This place is a nice property, but the staff, at least when we arrived, was not pleasant. No directions were provided ahead of time, and it’s in the Médina, in a place that is not easy to get to. As a result, we were hijacked by two ‘guides’ who proceeded to demand extra pay for their ‘work’ to get us there. The hotel staff allowed them to follow us into the building (!) and harass us. Totally unacceptable. I never saw the manager, who apparently doesn’t work on premises. Basically, it’s not about the service, so don’t expect any.

The staff of the Riad is super nice and ready to help. Nevertheless, it is located in a street with difficult access and the Souk has to be passed to enter it. The street is specially shady at night time and I would recommend not to venture out late. I would highly encourage future guests to explore other nicer areas, this one in particular is not welcoming.

The Riad is quiet but close to the main square. The alleyway to the front door was a bit disconcerting when we arrived but felt safe even at night. Twin room very clean if basic. Great decor and we were very grateful for the heating as it was very cold during our stay. Good breakfast of crepes and pastries. overall good value.

We arranged transfer from the airport to the hotel a few days before our trip and having paid £14 pounds, we were picked up by a nice van. At the end of our trip, I booked our airport transfer the night before check-out by speaking to the night staff and was left in utter shock when, having paid £14 again, we were greeted by a taxi that was at least 30 years old and was literally falling apart. The hotel itself was lovely, however we were definitely scammed, especially since I could have found a safer and cheaper taxi in which I wouldn't fear for my life. Last, but not least I gave the night staff 400 dirhams for both the airport transfers and was charged 2.50 Euros per night per person for city tax (although in the confirmation e-mail it said 2.5 Dirhams) plus 50 dirhams for the city tax. He told me he'd get me my change of 50 dirhams from the shops and as he escorted us to the taxi we asked for our change and found out that he hadn't gone to the shops like he said. This was a very dissapointing end to a great trip and I would not recommend this hotel to ayone after this terrible experience.

3 days before our Xmas eve arrival we were advised by email that the Riad was unable to fulfil our confirmed and paid for reservation. This first email offered an alternative without giving any details of this - in spite of our repeated emails in response to this, no reply was forthcoming. In the end only after several costly international phone calls did we get some attention and the promise that someone would meet us at the airport on our arrival. There is no excuse for such terrible customer service - the people of Origins group should be deeply ashamed and do not deserve your custom.

Although we could have done with better lighting, a full length mirror and a kettle, we had a comfortable few nights at Riad Lhena. Breakfast was a bit carb heavy but the staff were very friendly and helpful. Desk manned 24hr. Close to souks, about a 15 minute brisk walk to main road to get cabs. Charming rooms with plenty of power points.

The Riad is in a good location and easy to find compared to others I've stayed at in Marrakech. The hotel was clean and well maintained and the manager very helpful after a long day. A great choice if you're staying in Marrakech

First time I have stayed in a Riad and it was brilliant. There is no TV so you fully switch off in the evenings and just relax in either the downstairs lobby or even better on the open air roof. The complementary WiFi signal was good and I was able to easily stay in contact with family/ friends and check my emails etc. The staff are friendly and will arrange excursions for you and give local information. Continental breakfast was included and was varied with local pancakes, cakes, egg or yoghurt served. There is a wasp hive within the Riad. It is nice to watch the wasps buzzing around the central small water fountain. However when you are having breakfast and are under attack it is a serious annoyance. We had a large iron framed bed which was very comfortable, sadly it was also very noisy... We had upgraded to half board. When we asked in the morning we were told dinner would be prepared at 8pm. At 8pm we went to the dining area to find the tables were not laid and there were no staff around. We spoke to the hotel receptionist and were told he could prepare a meal for us for around 9pm. So we chose to eat out in the Medina after that. The Spa was empty during the first two days of our stay. We were going to speak to the hotelier on the third day but there was a power issue with the Riad and we were transferred to another Riad. We were moved to the Riad Hidden. Glad we did, it was nearby & the staff are amazing. We spent many evenings chilling with the hotel manager.
