The staff were very welcoming and great and serving people even when they were fully packed due to the football being on. The local Beer and food was very tasty. Why I don’t give 5/5 is because the room was super hot as it faced the sun all day and the fan they gave was very weak even at full power. This isn’t the staff or hotels fault as the summer we are having is extreme compared to normal. Would I stay again? 100% but maybe not in the summer or not in a room facing the front

Lovely place to stay, grounds lovely and room clean. Restaurant very busy so would advise to book early if you want an evening meal. Food was excellent.

The staff, facilities, food, all fantastic and worth the trip, even if it was for just one night. Faultless! Lucky enough, I was staying the night they have a monthy quiz night, brilliant fun. Couldn't recommend the Bower Inn enough and should I stay this way again, it will be my number one choice.

Lovely place to stay , great to sit out in the garden or at the fabulous heated at the back . Rooms are lovely , staff excellent and breakfast was good too ! Our second stay , on the way to Cornwall, and would stay again

Good quiet location on the edge of Bridgwater looking out onto fields. Busy pub mid-week in April when we were there with people sitting out enjoying the weather. Good dinner and breakfast.

Room was clean and a good size in general, but the bathroom was very cramped. Nice tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Staff were all very friendly, food was ‘pub grub’ and not the best fish and chips I have had, however the breakfast was excellent. We only stayed for one night whilst passing through, so it was a good place to rest our weary heads after a long day motorcycling in the rain.

Very comfortable bed and pillows, easy access to the M5 and a buzzy reasonably priced restaurant with interesting and well cooked dishes. All in all, a super stay
