Clean hotel with nice views, spacious bathrooms, helpful staff. I would stay here again when visiting Papantla. Which I will. My extended family and friends met us there and the place has huge lounge areas where you can gather, as well as the practical restaurant. I recommend. Not fancy, but pretty enough.

The room is small but enough for two persons, it’s clean with air conditioning.

The pool is unavailable because is broken closed out of service. Our room was not the one offered in the pics but the person in charge of the property was very helpful and resolved the issue and give us a good room. Thank you. Manager very helpful and respectful. Appreciate.

Kind and friendly staff.

Room was dated 1980. A lot of mold in the bathroom. Room spelled like mold. Worst of all the bed was hard as a slab of rock. The staff was nice.

Room was comfortable and well located. The parking was nearby.

Parking is a few streets away. Bringing the suitcases to our second floor room was difficult. Staff will help you but just inside and of course we tip them but from the parking to the hotel door was tricky. The hallway had steps in a weird shape, moving the suitcases around was a challenge.

It’s a wonderful hotel for location and a wonderful staff. The rooms desperately need refurbished. That being said I would stay there again .

Location is very close to the plaza and ideal for walking to restaurants and transport. The tourist module in the plaza is a great resource to learn about the city and area.

Well first of all the primary picture is not the hotel. Secondly although it is in a prime location in the center of town it has a lot of noise from the restaurants in and around the hotel. As far as cleanliness goes it was okay. The bathroom was moldy and you could smell it when you first walked in. All the fixtures were 20 to 30 years old and the AC was very weak. The bed was as hard as a rock & very uncomfortable. So in conclusion this was a one night stop while visiting El Tajin. On the positive side the staff was very nice and there were many local tourists staying there. There were not many other options I Papantla but for one night it was good enough.

Loved this hotel. We couldn’t have asked for a better location a better room or a better hotel. At one time this hotel was luxury. I love the old hotels in this world maintains all of his charm. The beds are too hard. That was my only complaint.

Lots of fresh breezes flow through this entire hotel, close to main square. 1950's style and some chairs a bit worn, but super comfy and the pool is a bonus

Hotel Tajín was great with A/C and a few steps from the town center lots of eating options I highly recommend Sorrento Restaurant. The green chilaquiles were delicious! And don’t miss the Tajin ruins awesome to see!. I stayed in one of the hotel’s double suite so spacious and comfy
