An old-style hotel with classic furnishings in the centre of town. Our room was large, clean and comfortable, with no air-con but an efficient fan, which was very useful considering the heatwave when we were there. We didn't have breakfast, so can't comment on that. Parking was a couple of hundred metres away in a private car park with allocated spaces, which was convenient but with some minor issues in exiting, which were resolved by the hotel. The staff member at Reception was extremely helpful, and couldn't do enough for us, for example in providing a kettle, milk, teabags, and even biscuits - all very much appreciated.

This was a really beautiful hotel in downtown Wurzburg. It was within walking distance of everything and they had access to a parking garage which was convenient. The only drawback was we could not get a good WiFi signal in our room on the 4th floor. There was a chair outside our door, which allowed us to sit and get access to the signal in the hallway, but this was a bit inconvenient. I think the walls were so thick that it was difficult for the signal to penetrate in the room. Otherwise our stay at this hotel was wonderful.

The hotel is within walking distance of everything and is so lovely. The staff was so welcoming. It was everything my Oma said her hometown would be, and we have zero regrets staying here!

Hotel is convenient to shopping, railway station, and dining areas. Excellent facility and staff. I would definitely stay there again.

The room was very clean in the bathroom was large, which is always nice. We had a supreme double room and appreciated having a larger area. It was also very quiet for being as close to the train and being in the city center. The breakfast buffet was very nice and I thought very reasonable in price. I loved that this is an old hotel but it has been very well maintained.

We had a wonderful three days at this hotel. It could not have been a better location. Five minute walk to the train station. Lots of stores and restaurants nearby

This Old World Hotel is centrally located and within walking distance of shopping, the centre of town and the Old Fortress. The room was beautifully appointed with a decor that was both practical and wistful. It was nice to have the small balcony to sit out in the sunshine not on our floor ( mainly for smokers convenience, but we used it just the same) …a very lovely stay indeed.

Overall, we had a nice stay. The hotel is a typical German hotel with charm, pictures of celebrity guests on the wall. It’s definitely in need of renovation though - we wanted to unplug a lamp to plug in the TV, and the entire outlet came out. Being in the city center, it is quite loud and you hear lots of noise at night. We had a 2-bedroom suite, which was definitely nice given that we were traveling with our two small children. It would have been good to know beforehand though that there are about 20 stairs leading up to the room. That was a huge challenge with our luggage, stroller, etc. We somehow managed it. There is a parking garage about a 2-3 minute walk away for 12€ per day - call the hotel beforehand in order to reserve a parking spot. Service was excellent and the workers there were all very friendly. If we are in Würzburg again, we will definitely stay here again.

Parking near the parking garage is a little painful as the parking ramps are small. However the staff was very friendly and they even offered a complimentary wine as a welcome drink. Also suggested things to do nearby.

Location was great but the street noise level was horrible. Air conditioning wasn’t working and we had to open a window, which was very uncomfortable. The last night hotel relocated us to a quieter room but still we had to open window for the night and it was noisy.
