Our second stay at Moss Cottage and this time we were welcomed by Bill, Peter’s colleague (hello Peter!). This is a very homely place and the welcome is equally warm. The rooms are very clean with good sized en-suite bathrooms. Bill prepares home cooked breakfast at a time agreed so you know it isn’t food that’s been left on a hot plate for an hour beforehand!! Delicious, and freshly brewed coffee too. There is also off road car parking. It’s a fifteen minute stroll into town, bringing you into Old Town first, so you can meander along the Avon from Holy Trinity Church before you tackle town itself. It’s also very handy for Anne Hathaway’s Cottage with it’s beautiful gardens and arboretum. Each time we book tickets for the Theatre we will check Moss Cottage first - thank you Bill and Peter!! 🙏

Cannot praise this establishment enough. The rooms were excellent clean and comfortable and the food lovely. The proprietor was friendly and helpful beyond measure wonderful place to stay.

Lovely, comfortable and welcoming, only a short walk to Anne Hathaway’s cottage and a slightly longer one into the heart of Stratford-upon-Avon. We will be back!

A delightful stay with a welcoming owner and a delicious breakfast including home made award winning marmalade! Close to RSC and the historic centre. I would thoroughly recommend a stay here.

The room was immaculate. The bathroom was a great size and again, was immaculate. The breakfast was excellent and I felt so welcome there m, the hospitality was superb. I would highly recommend staying here. It is a 5 min drive to the centre of Stratford and really easy to get to. Thanks for a great stay, it was far to short for me but when I return to Stratford, I will definitely be staying here again.

The room was clean, comfortable, and just beautiful, but the hosts is what truly sets this property apart. They are so kind and helpful, beyond anything you would ever expect. I would love to come back and stay again for a longer time!

Service impeccable. Bill was such a lovely host. So helpful and passionate about letting us know what to do in the area. Offered us home made biscuits and coffee when we arrived, even though we were a bit early. The room was large and clean with a nice bathroom and coffee/tea in the room too. Breakfast was wonderful also. A short walk into town, maybe 15 minutes if that. Would highly recommend this to anyone.
